My daughter only went to Lil' Alpacas for a short time, we had to move daycares due to the flooding. We were very happy with Lil' Alpacas while we were there. Our daughter was happy and we loved getting the reports and pictures each day.

My twins LOVE going to "school" here. They go outside daily (unless weather is really bad), do crafts/art every day, they FEED them lunch and snacks which is an absolute bonus that I don't have to make or prep anything myself, and preschool is also included! But the part I appreciate the most and stood out the most for me was their awareness to food allergies. Both my twins have severe allergies and they have a well thought out and written out allergy plan and take it very seriously with no issues accommodating them. It gave me a huge relief and felt very safe sending my boys there and that they wouldn't be excluded.

The communication and follow through at this place is horrible. Asking questions in the app would either yield no response or an answer that doesn't answer the question. My child was injured(nothing too serious) and I was not informed I just found the little cut later when I picked up. Talking to Lilly the manager also had no effect, She either doesn't tell the staff or they don't listen. The classrooms are generally over crowded for longer than legally allowed and mixed age groups for longer than legally allowed in the morning who knows what's going on during the day. The place is dirty, while my child was there they were sick every week, going to a new daycare somehow they haven't been sick once yet? The hot lunch was never a planned thing so the "sample menu" was not even close to what they actually serve. The only upside was they did crafts daily. The playground was a mud pit for the majority of the time my child went there. I have no clue how this place has a 5* review but it must be a friend's and family doing the reviews. I'd check other daycares before coming here. *Edit* Just look at the Fraser health records of complaints and violations. I'm not the only one with these concerns. There used to be many more reviews that are deleted off their Google page.

The communication at this daycare is horrible, asking questions in the app will go hours without being answered if at all. When we first started we were updated through the app 1-2 during the day and got the full report at the end of the day after we picked up our child. Over the next couple of weeks those daily reports slowly stopped and I had to continuously ask for an update. One of the teachers would text in the app an update rather than sending the report (which is what they previously did) i was told it's because the basement has bad reception and they are not able to access the app/send the report some times... We were also told that the teachers work with our home schedule for nap time, that was never the case here though, in the 4 months we were at alpacas they have never put my son down for two naps even on the days that he woke up extra early (4-5am) and we told them at drop off that he would require one. For the hot lunch, alpacas doesn't know what they are getting until it arrives on site, my son has a dairy allergy and there have been several times he was not able to eat the lunch they provided, rather than telling us they would just feed him toast... Healthy right? Considering they also give him toast for his morning snack. I ended up packing him a lunch and snacks (which they didn't always offer him) Lastly this place is dirty! brown and stained carpets, scratched and stained high chairs, peeling paint on the changing table, the changing pad has been taped-up multiple times, broken toys... The list goes on and on. If you're wondering why this place is so cheap/ affordable there is a reason.
