  Had a surprise birthday party here and it was the perfect venue for our family and close friends. Shamila had all the accessories we needed to make it cozy and comfortable. The different spots allow for a dedicated bar,a serving section, a kids space,and an Instagram worty backdrop. The length of time was more then enough and the sound system slowed us to dance all night long.

  I had the pleasure of having my baby shower hosted at Limelight Studio and Loft. Shamira and her team were fantastic at helping my vision come true. They were super easy to work with and the final event space looked incredible. Highly recommend!

  I was very excited to have my milestone birthday at this venue, especially after seeing all of the positive reviews. Though sadly, my experience was very disappointing. The loft was unkempt. There were cords and wires spilled across the floor posing a safety hazard. There were also various large decor items left behind. It seemed as though this space was used as a storage area for the owners, leaving the loft space unusable for my event - despite paying for a “studio and loft”. Things happen, I get it, so we made the best of the studio space. I ordered the decor through the venue to ensure that there were no issues with set up or clean up exceeding our time limit. I sent a picture of what I wanted from a post advertised on the venues instagram page to ensure that they would be able to execute the vision. Unfortunately the decorations that I received were not what was agreed upon. The plinths were completely different, and half of the balloons were missing from my arrangement. Yes, half. Missing. Pictures attached for reference. Things happen, I get it, so we made the best of it. The day after my event the owner sent me a picture of minor damage that allegedly happened to a wall behind the decor. After my event concluded, we cleaned thoroughly and I did not see any damage to any part of the venue. Confused, I asked if there was any footage showing how the damage was caused. I expressed that considering the damage was directly behind the marquee numbers provided by the venue, it could have happened when the decor was being taken down as I did not see the damage during my event and despite being told that the decor would be taken down during my event by their affiliates, no one actually showed up while we were there. This was ignored, rather she proceeded to give me an estimate for the damage for over $100. Days later I received another message advising that their repair person wouldn’t be able to assess the damage for 2 weeks. Things happen, I get it, but $500 is a lot of money, especially around the holidays. With my deposit being held hostage, I offered other alternatives hoping to come to some kind of resolution. This was ignored. Following up on the status of my deposit 2 weeks later (now nearly a month after my event) I expressed the aforementioned issues, again hoping for some kind of resolution. This was ignored. Instead she proceeded to inform me of the cost of the damages and asked to confirm my etransfer info to return the deposit, minus the cost of the damages. Things happen, I get it. I thought maybe in a haste she overlooked my message, so I resent it. Again, this was ignored. Instead of acknowledging my message, she informed me that the remaining deposit had been sent to the unconfirmed email address. In every instance of unprofessionalism - taking days to respond due to personal issues, not being able to provide clear information, withholding money due to their staffs personal engagements, refusing to acknowledge customer messages - I extended compassion and understanding. To accuse and then charge a customer for damages with no proof comes off as a money making scheme. Failing to provide the entirety of services that were paid for is ridiculous. But to also blatantly ignore costumer concerns about the quality of service - or lack thereof - is absolutely bonkers, especially after receiving so much understanding for every issue they caused. The lack of quality of the venue and services was disappointing enough in itself, but the unprofessionalism and lack of basic decency was distasteful and frankly insulting. Please fix up.

  This venue was perfect for celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday. I wanted a space that allowed guests to move freely but still provide an intimate atmosphere. Limelight studios was perfect. I ordered the full package, which included all the decor; table settings, balloons, backdrop, a cart for the dessert and a cake stool, which took a lot of the angst off my plate for planning. Sharmira was very pleasant to talk to and she did her best to accommodate all my requests. Getting in touch with Sharmira was easy, as she was always a quick phone call or text message away. She ensured the decor was to my liking or if I wanted any changes made before the start time. I also appreciated her honesty about minor fixes that were needed in the venue, which didn’t negatively impact my event in any way. This venue does not have a kitchen, but it does offer a sink, fridge and a microwave. I would absolutely rent this space again. Thanks for helping to make my dad’s 80th birthday a memorable one.

  Celebrated my Daughters 1st birthday yesterday, the venue is good for our group of 35, we also hired Sharmira for decoration and she did it as per our expectation..she has so patiently replied on all our queries and theme of the party. Definitely recommend the party hall and her for decor…
