I highly recommend Little Koala Surrey to everyone!! My son has been attending the facility for over then a year and since his first week we could see his development in different areas and we also could see him more independent. He has been learning lots of things. He loves the playground, classroom and teachers. I am so grateful for everyone in the facility who has been taking a good care of my son especially Ms. Nerita, Gabrielle, Amy, Sarah and Tien. I wish you all the best for all of you.

Enrolling my son at Koala Montessori’s Surrey location was the best decision I’ve ever made. My son has learned so much from them, and the way they’ve prepared him for kindergarten has been excellent. The staff is outstanding. Every time I pick him up from school, he’s excited to share what he’s learned. I highly recommend Koala Montessori, especially the Surrey location. They are exceptional, and you can see their passion for nurturing children in the way they handle them. They truly love what they do. Thank you so much Ms Gabrielle, Ms Nerita and Ms Tein.

This was the worst daycare experience we’ve had. My daughter, who has special needs, attended this daycare when she was 4 years old for about four weeks. She is now 6. During that short time, she cried every day, and I had to pick her up almost daily. I even offered to pay for training for their staff to better support children with special needs, and I also offered to bring in another staff member. Both offers were declined. For context, this was not her first daycare experience. Before Little Koala, she attended CEFA in Surrey and later a daycare in Vietnam. After leaving Little Koala, she went on to thrive in another daycare, then in kindergarten, and now at an international school in Vietnam. She has been doing wonderfully in all of those other environments. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this daycare, especially for families with children who may need additional support.

I highly recommend Little Koala Montessori due to the high quality of their Montessori and daycare programs. As an Asian mom, my only concern after moving here was finding a good daycare for my little one, who had no prior experience with daycare. She was raised with the love and pampering of her grandparents, and as an only child, she sought a lot of attention. She is a shy girl who takes a long time to warm up to strangers, so making her independent was really a challenge for me. From day one, I received excellent support from Little Koala. They paid close attention to every tiny detail I mentioned about my child. I believe it is extremely important to have a clear picture of your child's behavior, likes, and routine. Little Koala had a gradual entry process to ensure that children have enough time to get used to the new environment. The first two months were not easy, as she missed her grandparents, her toys, and her home, and she was facing cultural shock as well. However, I received great guidance from Ms. Narita on how to handle the situation. I continuously encouraged and gave her the confidence to face this difficult period. Ms. Narita held bi-weekly meetings to discuss her progress, which was extremely helpful in adjusting certain routines and fostering her independence. I am happy and proud of my daughter, as she has grown into an independent little girl after 10 months under the love and care of the Little Koala staff. After visiting about eight places before enrolling my little one in this daycare, I noticed that Little Koala maintains high standards and quality, which made me very happy and comfortable. I highly recommend this daycare to any mom who wants to raise an independent, intelligent, and happy child.

Little Koala has been amazing at teaching and caring for my daughter. She started at Little Koala after being at another play daycare which was also a wonderful experience and switched due to her aging out of the daycare (infants to 3 only) and for her learning. When she started Little Koala, she had a slightly rough transition time due to the timing of when she started (during winter after holiday break and after having a bad cold). However, after her 1-2 week gradual entry she has been thriving ever since. She has learned a lot of life skills and independence in learning and play while still being nurtured and cared for by her teachers. Her teachers are kind and treat her as if she was their own child, and during all pick ups they are always playing and having fun with the children to keep them entertained while parents come. Little Koala, is also very fast to respond whether that is from Ms Nerita or the teachers in the app or through email/phone call. They have helped navigate my daughter through some big life changes and helped with her keeping her on time with prescribed medications via their policies and protocols. Parents are always kept up to date as well via their calendar made a year in advance as well as the app they use to communicate news at the daycare or to talk directly to parents for any concerns or questions. My daughter always talks about how much she loves or misses her teachers when it’s the weekend, or is excited to tell me about her day after she finishes school. While Little Koala is a Montessori based daycare and not just play based, the kids all still able to make friends and know the value of play and fun with their classmates and teachers. I am thankful for Little Koala prepping my daughter to go into elementary school with a great foundation in language, numbers, coordination of tasks, themes, (hand-eye/observations,etc), and in expressing herself.
