  I’m a newly single struggling mom who just moved to the area. I called this daycare and was told they had a couple spots, I was so excited because I need to work to support my 2 children and myself. I went for a tour and mentioned my daughters speech delay. They told me they have a child with autism and a child with speech delay already and they are thriving. I thought that was them assuring me my daughter would be in good hands. I was so excited for not only my daughter but myself. After a week of them ignoring my calls, they told me they can’t take her because of her speech delay. I was told “we asked every staff member if they are okay with taking another child with a delay and they all said no”. I understand not wanting to overload staff, but they never gave her a chance. They view children with delays and special needs as burdens and unworthy of their care. It’s discrimination. Not only is my child denied care, but I am denied the ability to work to support my family because of something that is not my daughters fault. If your child goes here and has a delay or autism, I would double check on them to make sure they are being treated properly since they view these children as difficult and burdens.

  I typically don't write reviews, but I am so impressed by Eureka Kids Preschool that I want Jana, the people that work there, and others to know how much I appreciate what they do. My two year old son, Kai, loves going to school - he's got plenty of friends and is cared for by the teachers. He constantly surprises my wife and I with new things he learnt at school - stuff we haven't even had time to begin teaching him yet, like days of the week, months of the year and yelling "wake up dear!" at his dad to get him up in the morning. I think Kai stands to gain even more from Eureka over the next two years, as he will soon be old enough to begin learning from Jana's self-designed educational workbooks. I know first hand how useful those workbooks are because they are based on the elementary school workbooks from Czechoslovakia - the same ones that my grandmother (a Czechoslovak elementary school teacher of 40 years) used to teach me. My wife and I are extremely happy with Eureka, and we plan on bringing any future kids we may end up having there as well!

  I am so happy I came across Eureka kids 8 years ago. My son and daughter got a HUGE head start in reading. By the time they were in SK they were reading with ease. As my third child was of age, there was no question as to where he should start his early years of education. Seeing the same teachers there was like a reunion! This is a safe, fun and friendly environment. I am so happy my third will be exposed to the same learning as his older siblings. Thanks Eureka Kids!!! Christine

  My son is so excited to go every morning and never really read to go home. It makes my days much easier to know I don't have to worry about him injoying his day. I greatly appreciate the day to day updates, and discussions that the teachers have with me. I do with I had a no nap option, but having said that, the teachers truly care about each child and provide exceptional care. I feel my son and I are lucky to at Eureka!

  My two boys have attended Eureka Port Credit and LOVE it. This is what gives us a peace of mind when we are not with our kids. My kids love the worksheets and the healthy food. I have heard from several parents who agree their children likewise love the food and have broadened their horizons in that arena. Both my boys come home talking about what they have learned and want to continue the same activities at home! They sing, they play and they love their teachers. We have made friends with the families we've met from Eureka and we continue to keep in touch even though our kids have "graduated" from Eureka and go to different public schools. The teacher-parent communication is great. And I will miss the staff greatly once my second son "graduates". The student teachers, volunteers and teachers who have left on maternity have been great. I highly recommend Eureka Kids Port Credit!
