Little prints is, by far, the best daycare in Toronto. I was incredibly apprehensive about sending my son to daycare. I did tons of research, read thousands of reviews, and none of it alleviated my concerns. I found the very prospect of it terrifying. From the very first day, everyone at the daycare, from the teachers to the management went above and beyond to make the transition for both myself and my son as painless as possible. If you are one of those parents who worry too much and for whom the prospect of leaving your child with ”strangers” is nearly unfathomable... As one of those parents, I can honestly say that this is an excellent place with great teachers who genuinely care for the kids and keep you abreast of everything that goes on while you are away.

So happy that our daughter is going here. She loves it, the food is great and very healthy and the staff are amazing. The team was very supportive as we transitioned from home to daycare and made things very easy for us.

Our family had a horrible experience with Little Prints York Mills. The staff are inattentive and not vigilant, management is dismissive of parental concerns, and the wellbeing and safety of children should be paramount, but is not at this center. Attention needs to be 110% for children but staff are often multitasking, taking shortcuts, and ignoring needs of children. When serious incidents occur, communication with caregivers needs to be immediate instead of brushed off as “things happen” or that “it isn’t a big deal”. The unique needs of the youngest members in their care require an extra level of attention, ensuring that their well-being is paramount. The environment is chaotic, loud, and not conducive to children being able to learn and receive the attention they need. My child was never able to nap well there and, despite staff claiming the baby slept, they came home exhausted and fussy everyday. Most recently, the daycare's policy on outdoor activities during extremely cold weather, leaves me with a heightened concern for the safety of infants. While I appreciate the emphasis on outdoor play for children's development, requiring infants and toddlers to spend two hours outside each day, despite the extremely cold weather, raises significant safety concerns. Management states that it is a requirement as long as it’s -10 degrees Celsius. The City of Toronto activates warming centers at -5 degrees Celsius! I urge the daycare to reevaluate their policy and align with consistent safety standards. My hope is that the daycare reinforces protocols to ensure the safety of infants at all times and reconsiders the outdoor policy.

I didn’t have a good experience with Little Prints. My wife called Little Prints to inquire about a space for my pre-schooler and asked about the waitlist and the director Ms. Oshida literally said: “ i will put you on the waitlist for your peace of mind but your child is not getting the spot”. This is my youngest child and it was pretty upsetting and disturbing that they were unable to give me any dates as to when spacing would be available, or if the waitlist actually existed or even allow me to tour the daycare. I was very excited about the good ratings on the city’s website, but now quite concerned given the inconsiderate attitude coming from the management. I would not recommend this daycare.

My daughter started attending Little Prints Daycare. Blessed Trinity (North York) at the age of 2. The facility is very clean and well managed, and the teachers/staff are very professional and caring. The director, Ms. Margaret, is one of the nicest people I've ever met! My daughter returned to the day care for the summer camp after one year (after JK), she really enjoyed the environment. It was the best childcare decision we've made. The environment of this school is much intellectually stimulating. My child received lots of care and love made her very happy at daycare.
