We have been a part of the Little Rascals family for the last 3 years; my youngest will be moving on to Kindergarten in September and while she is ready, I am not! We will miss the Little Rascals teachers and community dearly. The programming is fun, thoughtful, diverse (and educational!) and frequently include 'fun days' like pyjama/crazy hair day, or pizza/pasta day (no need to make lunches, hooray!). My littlest still gets excited to go to 'school' every day after looking at the monthly calendar (these get sent home at the start of the month) to see what they'll be doing that day (maybe crafts, picnic, yoga, French, music, show-and-share to name a few...). As a parent, I have complete trust in the LR teachers and feel so lucky my kids got to experience their nurturing at this purpose-built facility. Final note - future families will be lucky enough to be on the grounds of the new delbrook park!

My son has been attending this wonderful daycare/preschool for the past three years and continues to go there for before and after care. I am eagerly looking forward to my daughter joining in a year's time. Sigrid, who has been running this place for over 40 years, has done a phenomenal job, and her dedication to this system speaks for itself. The discipline and the amount of learning about nature, earth, science, and humanity are simply amazing. The way this daycare was managed during COVID was exemplary, going above and beyond any private school. Sigrid repeatedly communicated her suggestions as a leader to the authorities, ensuring the best for our children. Mitch has also been an incredible leader and a vital part of the team. Families have been so fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring team. I even know young families who have been attending this childcare for two generations! Thank you, Monica, Melody, Mitch, Sigrid, and all the wonderful Little Rascals staff. We love you and appreciate everything you do!

I had two children, aged 5 and 7, enrolled at LR for the last school year. The space is set up very thoughtfully and accommodates different interests of the children, with different routines for the days of the week. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and the care they provide gives such a sense of security to parents. All the staff were well connected to the individual children. The LR out of school care is very well organized and I am sad to be leaving them as our family moves out of the area. I am so grateful for the year my children had there.

Both my kids attended LR for 2 years each so far. The educators are kind and nurturing and provide excellent learning opportunities that are creative and fun. My kids are always excited to attend and have lots of great stories to share at home. Kids are only sad when they have to leave at the end of the day and sometimes refuse to! The fact that there was one terrible review here from a parent who never actually attended the daycare and all the parents rallied to share their positive experiences is a testament to the excellent care. Thank you to Sigrid and all the staff for being an extension of our family over the years.

This is a wonderful centre. My oldest boy has been here 2 years. My youngest will start in September as well. I have seen zero staff turnover in my time here during our time here, which speaks to the quality of the management. Every member of the teaching team is great! My son loves them all. The programming is fantastic- my son has learned so much and is well prepared for kindergarten. His social, academic and daily living skills have grown so much thanks to the patient staff. Each month’s calendar is packed with fun learning activities and tons of art, music and yoga. When I approached the head teacher to ask for some accommodations for my son’s extra needs, she was so helpful and provided everything we asked for. The parent community here is wonderful and welcoming. I am truly so grateful to have my children enrolled here!
