  My nephew is in the infant room, I believe they refer it as teddy bear picnic room. I picked him up the other day, every single teacher accept for one teacher (Kimberley) was paying attention to all 9 children in the room. There was 5 teachers in the room. It’s upsetting to me as a parent and a uncle to see such a thing. With that many teachers in the room. I expected at least 3 teachers being attentive to the children not 1. Kimberley was singing and playing with all the children. I applaud her. It’s how an ECE should be.

  I’m a new young parent in the area and I was going to send in an enrolment for my daughter, but after hearing from my friend who was an former employee here, convinced me otherwise. -It saddens me to say, but what my friend witnessed is something that made me reconsider my decision as she told me that the educators reprimand the children in a negative way quiet often, tend to yell and grab the children. As well the educators are quiet burnt out. I understand that they are children, but why would you put your anger and frustrations on a child? Especially when they are learning the world around them. After hearing this I decided not to go through with this center, since caring for my daughter’s wellbeing and safety is my top priority. Since I’ve gotten a insiders perspective, putting my daughter under their care would not be the best option for me. To any parent reading this, I hope you find this helpful.

  We couldn't have been happier for our daughter. She is extremely happy at the centre and talks a lot about teachers and friends. All staff she has had was extremely professional, carring, patient and overall nice. Management is great! Highly recommended!

  We selected Little Tots primarily because we liked the “homey” environment and the high staff to child ratio in the infant room. From the programming, to the friendly staff, to the in-house kitchen, Little Tots has helped our kids thrive. Sure there are some frustrations with staff turnover at times but we've come to the realization that hiring and retaining great staff in this industry can be hard. That said, there are many staff who haven’t changed in the 4.5 years we have been there. We haven’t had many issues but when they do come up we’ve found the teachers and the supervisors very approachable. We recently moved and visited other day cares closer to home. These tours made us realize that despite other places being more convenient, we aren’t willing to compromise on the care and education our children receive at Little Tots.

  I spent 6 years within the walls of Little Tots Manor with my two daughters (now 10 and 8), and our time there was a tremendous experience and one we will never forget. My wife and I continue to stay in touch with friends we made at the daycare, and we see alumni parents everywhere in the community (soccer, the grocery store, work environments). The time my kids spent at Little Tots Manor has helped them grow into social, well-rounded individuals. The overall philosophy, coupled with the amazing environment provided for play and learning gives the children a place where they can explore and be themselves while feeling safe and secure. Choosing someone to care for your children is one of the biggest decisions you are faced with as a parent. I'm extremely thankful that I chose Little Tots Manor and I've never once questioned the decision. My girls love to return for visits and my entire family looks back fondly on the time we spent there. This is the best daycare in the city, hands down.
