Took the kids to the cafe on a Saturday afternoon. We paid $7/pp for teens and adults and $3.50/pp for kids under 12. There were plenty of games to choose. The drinks and food are reasonably priced. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere!

The BEST game cafe you will ever come to. Prices for Pokémon are amazing and the staff are always so friendly! They also have the best drinks I’ve ever had with cute little names! 10/10 game cafe, I’m always here with my boyfriend and we are obsessed!

This store has a wide selection of card sleeves in general and more specifically a wide selection of sleeve kings sleeves (my preferred brand). There is a smaller board game selection compared to other stores I know. There are some small discounts for slightly damaged games. The store is paired with a board game cafe.

I've been sitting with something that's been weighing on me for a little while now, and I think it's time to speak up. First off, I want to say that I genuinely enjoy what LVLUP offers. The store has such a fun vibe, and there's usually a great mix of people during events or even just casual nights with games and snacks. Most of the regulars are friendly, respectful, and create a really welcoming environment. That said, I’ve had a few less-than-great experiences during Commander nights that I feel need to be addressed. There’s one player in particular who’s repeatedly made me and others uncomfortable. His name is Daniel, and while I considered leaving his name out, I feel it’s important to be transparent so others are aware too. I usually attend either solo or with a friend, and I’m happy to jump into any open pod. But every time I’ve ended up at a table with him, it’s been frustrating and honestly, exhausting. His behavior has been rude and unnecessarily loud, and he often makes inappropriate or dismissive comments that feel especially uncomfortable as a woman. Despite being asked to stop by me and others he continues. He tends to ignore social cues, interrupts conversations and games, and just generally throws off the vibe for everyone around him. Unfortunately, because the space is often packed, it's not always easy to move tables or reshuffle pods mid-game. I’m speaking up not to call anyone out unnecessarily, but because I care about the community and want it to stay a safe, welcoming space for everyone. The staff have been wonderful, and most of the players to but one person’s repeated behavior has honestly drained a lot of the joy out of my visits. I’m hopeful that by sharing this, it brings some awareness and helps create a better experience for others. And maybe, with time, I’ll feel comfortable enough to come back again.

Update: Even better than before . Everything is clean, well organized, safe and inclusive. Baked goods are delicious. Games are well organized and even more extensive than before. Absolutely love this place! Discovered this board game location because of its proximity to an escape room (Captive).Definitely glad we chose to go there. It was clean, lots of variety in game choices, clean washrooms and a nice snackette. The owners are female and this is important to note as this type of recreational activity is often dominated by male owned and led businesses. It seems to be well run and attendance was high. There are membership rates and access to the games is very affordable. They are also very helpful and the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The only improvement would be more food/drink options but it was much better than many other board game cafes .Will definitely return.
