There are several entrances to the conservation area that includes access to trails, marshlands and a beach. There many different bird varieties all year round as well as deer. The chickadees will fly towards you landing in trees close by signaling they are not afraid to receive seeds from your palm (recommended to disinfect your hand after palm feeding or wear gloves). Interestingly the chickadees do eat shelled peanuts as well. A great place to bring children or adults to see wildlife up close.

BEAUTIFUL!! Would absolutely come back Only 7$ for all day parking so we thought why not. We weren't expecting much other than a walk through the woods but within minutes we were watching deer run through the fields and birds were following us for food. Then we came across a beautiful beach on lake ontario which made regret not having brought my towel and a bathing suit. Would highly recommend, beautiful area to explore!

We had such a wonderful time here! The scenery is absolutely beautiful — it’s a perfect place for a peaceful walk along the trail. There are so many little birds and ducks around, and the kids had an amazing experience feeding the birds. When the tiny birds gently landed on their hands to eat the sunflower seeds, they were so thrilled and couldn’t stop smiling! 🐦🌿 A truly lovely spot for families to connect with nature and enjoy a relaxing day outdoors.
