I got majority of my cichlids from M & J aquarium and I’m very pleased with it. The owner is the most easygoing friendly person and has a very good sense of humour, the best part is the prices are very FAIR and AFFORDABLE . Cichlids❤️ Thank you very much Bin!!!🙏

This is possible the best aquarium store in Scarborough. He has everything you need. Floss, fish tanks, medications, decor, back rounds, tons of fish you don’t see ever at other stores. Equipment varies. Great new fish food Under the Sea. Driftwood is nice , prices are half of a big box store. Bin will do everything you need, And not only that Fish Tropic Canada brings his stock here for sale. And sometimes you can catch him for a in depth knowledge session of Aquarium Keeping. Just ask Bin !!! Is what i say now.

The owner knows his business really well. If you are new to this hobby, reach out to him. He is such a friendly, calm, and honest person, and gives the best advice for new hobbyists. He has the best and healthiest fish, and his pricing is much better than every other store in Ontario. I believe this because I visited many aquarium shops and didn’t find aquarium plants and fish as affordable and healthy as those at this shop. Reach out to the store first—you will eventually end up coming back!

What can I say about this place... When we entered the store, a strong smell of mold hit us in the face. The aquariums were all very dirty and many of the fish were in poor condition. The person who welcomed us didn't know much about fish. When we asked her questions, she told us she didn't know. There was also a cat, scared of humans, which in my opinion is not a good sign... in short, I will never buy a fish in this store for fear of catching diseases.

I was referred here to get my fish tank repaired due to leaks 💦. My mom had also bought several fish tanks here worth a lot and they are still holding up well today, I must say! The owner, Bing is very knowledgeable and friendly to have had the pleasure doing business with. He did an awesome job with the tank repair! Thanks. 😊 I’ve also visited his store and was surprised to see all the fishes 🐠 in good health 🏥with NO signs of infection/ disease free, compared to big box stores. His prices for livestock and products are competitive and fair. He also seems to be a hardworking & honest man as well. “SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!”
