    First of all, this is not a cheap place that would require us to pay for the bags. The cashier asked us if we would like to buy a bag with our $140 purchase and we clearly said yes. She forgot to charge us for the bag and we were waiting for her to put our stuff into the bag while she started talking to other cashier. I asked her if I’m getting a bag, she said no I didn’t charge you for it. She didn’t even show enough courtesy to offer us a bag that she can just shove all the stuff that I bought in the backpack that I also paid for. If I was her manager, I would’ve fired her.

    I’ve been a loyal customer of Marshall’s for a long time, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I bought a pair of pants for my mom, but she didn’t like them. Since I lost the receipt, they insisted on refunding me at the sale price, which I declined. Instead, they checked my TJX account, found the exact price I paid, and issued a refund to a gift card. However, when I tried to use the card, it had a zero balance. When I followed up, Marshall’s just told me to contact TJX, and TJX gave me no help—just said the card had no funds. No accountability, no support. I’m beyond frustrated with their poor customer service!

    My husband & I were racially profiled today. We had a bag with grocery from a nearby store which was in my husband’s cart as we browsed. One of the staff members (must be in her 40s with a Russian accent.. wish I could capture her name) kept following him. When we went to the checkout she kept asking if we had anything in that bag to checkout. I informed her it’s stuff from another shop, she still asked us “if we had billed everything”. She even followed us to the exit and while we waited for a cab, kept staring at us. If this isn’t harassment I don’t know what is. Just because my skin color is different, it doesn’t make me a theif. Do better Marshalls. Absolutely never shopping here again 😡

    I should have waited and got my luggage at Marshalls. Would have saved 70 dollars if i had. I am stuck with the one i got cause it was a "CLEARANCE PRICE" at 60 percent off and no returns. Will know better for next time.

    Inviting and bright, this store has always appealed to me. Consistently, pleasantly staffed, and rarely disorganized, this Marshall's - Appleby line- checks all the boxes. Cleanliness, shiny floors, great change rooms and shelves stacked..(with amazing seasonal sections) Beautiful racks of great styles for fall. Had to put my blinders on to get out! But...I will return! Always a highly enjoyable shopping experience
