Massey Grove Park is a lovely green space in Etobicoke that offers a pleasant outdoor experience for families looking for a place to relax and play.

What to expect

This park provides an outdoor setting for children to enjoy. While it's a great spot for a casual visit, it's important to note that it is an outdoor facility, so activities are weather-dependent. It's a good place for kids to get some fresh air and burn off energy in a natural environment.

Best for

Ideal for a casual afternoon outing when the weather is nice, offering a simple outdoor space for kids to explore.

I originally posted this comment about 2 years ago: Great place to bring kids! And they have shaded tables to have lunch. But the last 2 times that I have returned I found it dirty and managed poorly. I will include some pics. It's unfortunate since the splash pad was the best part of this park.

The playground area, although a bit rundown and in need of some maintenance and upkeep, is actually very nice. They have a variety of activities for kids, including some hard to find ones. Like the swing which looks like a big plate so kids can sit together and enjoy it. Almost like a hammock. The splash pad though, and that’s the main reason I took my kids there, is a HUGE disappointment. There is hardly ANY water pressure. You can keep pressing the button but the water will come when it’s ready and not a second before. I personally pushed the button and water started coming out of SOME of those dispenser thingies almost 3+ minutes later. You can keep pressing it but it won’t do you any good. It’s a total waste of time. Instead of enjoying a hot day you’ll be spending time getting frustrated and mad at the nonexistent water.

Great playground with a fun splash pad conveniently located next to the community centre. Lots of parking. My 4 year old loves it. We like to spend time here after his parks & rec classes.

There is a great splash pad, but no washrooms. Even though the community centre is listed as open, it is not. There is a padlock on the front door. The playground is partially covered by that rubber tile. Great for toddlers wobbly legs. The parking lot is terrible. The spaces are not evenly marked, some hilariously too narrow to park in. There should be a few designated spots for families with pregnant moms and small children. It's not well marked so careful! You might just drive right by.
