  No body reply backs to the call from this center very poor communication.I went in person to check as well they send an email with application form and I kept calling them to check the waitlist update no response to emails!!!!!!

  There's not enough reviews on this St Hilary's Ymca Day Care Center for such an important decision. The ECEs are very friendly, and are the type of people you want to trust your children with. They are more of babysitters than educators though (I found). At about 3 and a half years old I recognized that my child was still having trouble with recognizing her numbers and alphabet letters. Let alone still no interest in spelling her name. By three years old we started doing her numbers and letter at home hoping that the school was doing some of the work during the day. The progress binder they give each child suggested that my child was excelling in this area, but the games we played at home suggested the complete opposite. When I mentioned it to the staff and management I think they took offense to the observation (or something). That's when the calls started coming to my wife from the staff manager about how bad my child was being at school. It was such a coincidence. Their complaints about our child were all about things that a 3 yo would do - running around and not taking her naps. They called in "behavioural consultants" who reported nothing abnormal on numerous occasions. The 1:1 conversations with these consultants pointed to our daughter not being challenged enough by the center. Maybe explained why she struggled with her numbers and letters. Anyways, we decided to pull her out of the St Hilary's day care center and home care for her just before COVID hit. Within 4 weeks she was fluent in her numbers and alphabet with confidence, and was well into writing her first name. And now she is in kindergarten, having a great time with no "behavioural" problems reported. Like, not even a hint of suggestion of it. If I had a choice I wouldn't send my child here again just based on that strange experience.

  My daughter was in the toddler classroom with Jenna, Navi & Dani. These guys are the most caring, loving, and friendly staff to trust your children with!! Neha is also another staff that took such good care of our little one. Michelle, the supervisor, was also super kind and awesome! They made me feel at complete ease even when my LO struggled to adjust in the beginning. They were extremely accommodating and patient the whole way. Now my daughter loves going in the mornings and is very happy upon pick up :) Unfortunately we need to transfer daycares (I will shed tears) but hands down this was one of the best first childcare experiences we’ve had!!

  The staff at the centre are absolutely amazing! The way my child loves going to “school” warms my heart. I am so grateful for all the wonderful care they provide, and the activities they implement with the children. You can see every child is having the best time day in and out. Thank you St. Hilary team for all your efforts each and every day! 🥰
