  Mr Big's came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice and peas for $13 along with coleslaw, it was a great portion size. The chicken was the perfect level of spice, fall off the bone tender and super tasty. Loved the rice and peas too! They gave me extra gravy which was amazing. The lady at the front was really sweet and friendly. Food came out within a few minutes. The price was really good considering inflation these days!! Cant wait to go back and try the oxtail 😁

  Mr. Big’s Restaurant is located in Mississauga and they specializes in Caribbean cuisine. This family owned business started in 2000 and they have a loyal following in Mississauga. First time visiting the restaurant. It's located in a busy plaza but there's parking available. The inside is geared towards takeout and delivery with only 4 small tables available to dine in. Your order is given to you on takeout containers whether you are staying to eat or taking it home. We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken dinners. The portion sizes were large and the meat tender. The sauce on the Curry was more on point as the Jerk sauce was a bit weak. Overall, this is a decent spot as you get a good meal based on prize and portion size.

  I love this little Caribbean spot in Mississauga! The service is superb. The cashier lady recognized us instantly because we came two days in a row. She's very friendly and ensured that we got the soda can that is included in the lunch combo (which we wouldn't have known otherwise). The food itself is good, just like how caribbean food should taste like. The chicken is tender and the curry is flavourful. Similarly, the jerk chicken is also delicious. I would come here again in a heartbeat if I was in the neighborhood and I'm craving Jamaican food. You also can't beat the price for lunch special. $7 for a small plate of curry chicken with rice and peas and pop is pretty good if you ask me. There's a small dining area of three tables so if you're planning on a take-out, this is the place. The ambiance is authentic Jamaican. There's also plenty of free parking available as this restaurant is situated in a big plaza. I've been wanting to try the patties as well but they seem to run out very quickly. Until next time!

  Mr Bigs Restaurant never disappoints! The staff are kind and welcoming, and the service is always excellent. The food is flavourful, delicious, and tastes like it’s made with care every time. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Jamaican food!

  I was so glad that I stopped by this restaurant today (December 5, 2025). I had just had a medical procedure done and I had not eaten anything for more than 30 hours. We ordered jerk chicken, oxtail and fried chicken meals. The food was well presented and they actually had some salad included! The meals were super-delicious and ample. Halfway through my meal, I started having severe stomach pains. I quickly realized they were gas pains because of the length of time I had to fast before my procedure. A Good Samaritan noticed that I wasn’t feeling well and came and asked me if he could help. Would you believe these very kind people made me chai tea at no cost? I was so thankful because as soon as I started to sip the hot tea, the pains began to dissipate. A good sign of a successful business is when they haven’t forgotten the importance of the human touch. There are still some good people in this world! I highly recommend Mr. Big’s. A+ for their hospitality and A++ for the cleanliness of the washroom. A+++ for the quick and efficient delivery of the food to customers and A++++ for the delicious food and nice ambience!
