  As a kid, this was THE REASON to go biking in the summers. ...you get that watermelon sorbet with the candy seeds, dang it!

  I haven't been back to Murphy's Ice Cream Parlour since I was a child on a school field trip until this past summer. The interior, if memory serves me right, hasn't changed, which adds to the nostalgia of this place. I got a chocolate and vanilla twist cone, and it was delicious! The customer service is also fantastic, and the location itself is perfect for a stroll in Streetsville.

  Murphys is a must visit if you're in the area. Awesome staff and excellent local made ice cream. Plenty of fun and traditional flavours that will appease any preference. There are options for sorbets and sundaes as well. Murphys is a busy spot in the summer but the staff are efficient and friendly. I had the dark chocolate with salted caramel, which was fantastic. The dark chocolate isn't too sweet and the salted caramel adds the right amount of contrast to highlight the quality of the chocolate. Highly recommend this flavour.

  I had a really disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. I walked in and there was no one else in the store. When I asked to try a couple of flavors before deciding, I was told they don’t allow sampling — only one flavor, and that’s it. I even offered to pay for a small sample just to try before buying, but they still refused. Honestly, this is the first time in my life I’ve gone into an ice cream shop and been told I can’t sample more than one flavor. Ice cream is supposed to lift your mood and be a joyful experience, but this place did the opposite. I walked out feeling annoyed and frustrated. Won’t be coming back, and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and customer-friendly experience.

  Murphy's ice cream parlour is a hidden gem that you definitely don't want to miss. I had the pleasure of stopping in for a few scoops and I must say I was impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a classic, rustic charm that is perfect for indulging in a sweet treat. The real highlight, though, is the ice cream itself. All the flavors are homemade and carefully crafted in-house, using only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients. From the classics like chocolate and vanilla, to more adventurous options like lavender honey and bourbon brown sugar, each scoop was bursting with flavor and had a creamy, smooth texture. In terms of service, the team at Murphy's are friendly and knowledgeable, eager to help you make a decision or provide recommendations based on your preferences. The only downside I could find was the limited seating, but that is easily overlooked by the quality of the products being offered. Overall, I would highly recommend Murphy's ice cream parlour to anyone looking for a delicious and unique ice cream experience. It exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
