  My wife and I had a tour here (with the owner herself) on December 31,2019 and the tour went great and she reached out to us the same day regarding how many days a week we were looking for and then never heard anything again. My wife responded the same day with the days and after no response she emailed Michelle again on January 21,2020. And after no response from that reach out she then called My Pre Academy and was told Michelle wasn't available but she will reach out the same day. Sadly we never heard back. So here is the experience we had. Hope this helps those seeking care for their children. I will leave this in your hands to decide whether this is where you would want your children cared for.

  My PreAcademy is such an amazing centre and truly makes a difference in the daycare journey. My daughter attended part time and had no problem transitioning into JK last year. My son attended from a year old and I unfortunately had to pull him out when I lost my teaching job last year due to COVID. After ten months away, he attended for the first time yesterday and I was expecting the worse since he has been so clingy to me since being at home full time. Ms. Melissa had him comforted quickly and made his day so successful that he even napped his first day back! Seeing his beaming smile upon pick up told me exactly how his first day back went! Their COVID protocols go above and beyond and I feel secure leaving my children in their care. Thank you to the whole team for the fantastic job done everyday!

  My wife and I have had our 2.5-year-old in my pre-Academy program since 12 months and has had no issues, we highly recommend Miss Michelle and her team. We are additionally, going to be enrolling our infant Starting September. The program at MPA is sophisticated, well rounded, and has allowed our child to develop and grow at a fantastic pace.

  As an RECE/ kindergarten teacher myself, MY Pre Academy is the ONLY place in Barrie to go. The staff are loving and more than qualified. The meal plan is exceptional with the sweetest and most welcoming cook. The centre itself is aesthetically spectacular. The programming offers a variety of experiences in which allows for the whole child development. The owner, Miss Michelle immediately gives you all the feels. Her kind smile and efficient work regime let’s you, the parent know your child is loved and safe .....and not to mention getting the best educational and developmental head start.   Hands down, number 1 child care facility in Barrie. From the caring teachers who tirelessly provide exceptional programming on a daily basis, to the always warm and friendly chef Pauline who consistently delivers delicious, creative and healthy snacks and meals that the kids love, to finally the owner Michelle who puts her heart and soul into every aspect of the facility. My Pre Academy is one of the best decisions my husband and I ever made when enrolling our daughter in their infant program. She stayed right up until preschool and she looked forward to every day. Starting your day with a child that is excited to go to "school" makes the whole day go smoothly. And for her, there was no better feeling than to walk through those doors and have everyone excited to see her and have a fun day learning and playing. It set her up to begin kindergarten at a more advanced level and really helped her develop a love for learning. Thank you Michelle and MPA team for always loving and caring for Grace for all those years and helping her get a great start to her educational career.
