It's a very nice and new comedy center. I would recommend going there

The center has such a beautiful design and a stunning lake view, and our family has really enjoyed spending time there. However, we’ve had ongoing concerns with the quality and organization of the children’s programs. For example, the soccer classes enroll children from 5 to 10 years old together, which doesn’t feel safe or appropriate. The age difference creates situations where younger kids can easily get hurt, and it would be much better to separate the groups. The swimming classes have been especially disappointing. The teen instructors don’t seem adequately trained or engaged, and the kids aren’t receiving proper guidance. After a full year in the program, my son’s swimming test results were actually worse than when he began. Overall, the center itself is wonderful, but the children’s sports programs truly need reorganization and improvement.

I am very disappointed with the clear lack of progress - and even regression - in my child’s swimming evaluations at the Oak Ridges Community Centre & Pool. My child has attended all scheduled lessons consistently for the past five months, yet the final assessment shows not only no improvement but an unexpected degradation in achieved skills, as visible in the attached comparison sheets. As a parent, I expect that regular participation and effort would be reflected in at least some measurable progress. Instead, it seems that either the instruction, evaluation process, or consistency of teaching standards is lacking. This has been a very discouraging and frustrating experience. I hope management reviews the quality control of their swimming program, as this situation does not meet the expectations for a community centre of this level.

This is my first time to visit this Community Centre , although I have passed by it over 100 times. A nicely designed community center, not very big but has 2 very nice indoor swimming pools. A big Gym, and some meeting rooms, a fitness center, A nice common area and outdoor sitting area , over looking the beautiful Lake Wilcox . This center belongs to the City of Richmond Hill. For residents of City of Richmond Hill , you better get a parking label from the city before you come to use the center and need to park the car at the parking lot.

I booked pickleball Open Play for the first time. The location is great. The facilities are immaculate. The players I met were very friendly and not too serious about scores. A perfect place to enjoy sports. Thank you!
