Most importantly, Dr. Gall is patient, supportive, and kind; he ensures you are comfortable while explaining the steps of an examination and tries to address any questions/issues you might have.   The single star is just for the optometrist! He was ok but the upselling was seriously annnoying. We (an M.D. family) drive out to Oakville based on the positive reviews - serious mistake.l!!! The optometrist was ok however given our professional capacity we were subjected to upselling as this was based in subjective evaluation. We were quoted $1700 + taxes for my daughter due to a lazy eye which according to the optometrist required on site visual training ( 🤷🏻‍♀️- this was news to us as ophthalmologists (family) who are physicians don’t offer this and we were being upsold these classes based on a book that offers anecdotal stories). In another note- I am a diabetic and my examination was not complete as again , I was being upsold a $170 +taxes visual for my eye study . I have never in 22 years being in Canada (different provinces) been asked to pay these prices from people in the allied health sciences. To boot my lense prescription is incorrect so this will have to be a redone with new lenses . We will not return to this place as the female staff in addition, have an extreme racist attitude.

  My 7 year old son started to complain of headaches at the end of the school day so after reading the Google reviews for Dr. Gall, I made an appointment and just assumed my son would need glasses. I can honestly say that the reviews here reflect our experience. We have had an amazing experience and after an extensive exam and 12 weeks of vision therapy, impressive results!! My son now does not need glasses and his eyes are much stronger in many ways. He started using some reading glasses at first when we started therapy and commented when he tried on the glasses at first that he didn't know balloons were tied down with strings because he had never been able to see them!. He now is reading with ease (without glasses) after we had been struggling to get him to stop guessing at words. His writing has become much smaller and more controlled. He now enjoys doing detailed artwork at home and at school. He now picks up books to read to his two younger brothers and easily reads more complicated texts like instructions for a board game. He has started piano lessons and has been able to enjoy it because he can follow along learning to read music without losing his place on the page. He no longer has headaches after school! My husband and I had never heard of vision therapy before and we were skeptical but wanted to give it a try. We are so thankful for Dr. Gall and Heather's help and guidance. This has been life changing for our son and we are thrilled we went early before our son was further behind in reading. The therapy includes about 30 minutes of exercises to complete daily at home. Sticking with it is so important and will be invaluable.

  I visited because my glasses had felt off ever since I accidentally squished them the other day. I wasn’t even sure what the issue was, and to top it off, I hadn’t bought the glasses here, they were from Japan. Still, the staff professionally checked and fixed it perfectly. The whole process was fast and all it cost me was a smile. Wonderful service, thank you so much!

Top-quality service! The clinic has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is very professional. I had a seamless experience from the eye exam to choosing my frames. Highly recommended.
