Old Orchard Park is a lovely outdoor space in Toronto that offers a great spot for families to enjoy some fresh air and play.

What to expect

This park provides a natural setting for children to explore and burn off energy. While it's an outdoor space, making it less ideal for rainy days, it's a wonderful place for kids to run around and engage with the outdoors. It's a good option for families looking for a casual outing.

Best for

Perfect for a sunny afternoon when kids need space to play freely in a natural environment.

It's a wonderful playground for kids, even with the pandemic. It has a great grassy area, but two minor concerns are the small tunnel under the tiny bridge, and some of the kids there are troubling. Then again, I definitely look a bit too much like tween to say that the kids will approach anyone :P

I've never seen a kids park with such crazy climbing structures before. It's beautifully laid out, and the play area is big enough for a large group of kids. My ONLY complaint is that there are no toddler slides (for the 1-4 year-old range).

Love that little park. Great pass through for bikes. Wonderful area for kids to play.. great playground. Has picnic areas which are also covered. There are some really nice old trees to add shade and quite a bit of green space and tree planting going on to add to the parks good vibes. Really great place for a picnic with your younger children.

Fantastic park that serves the neighborhood. The grounds are rather large with plenty of space for families, containing a playground full of modern recreational amenities, as well as plenty of mature trees. The park breaks up the monotony of the single detached neighbourhood and further provides quality community space for the families in the area. There is a culvert and drainage ditch on site.

Park is between Old Orchard and Deloraine (not far from Avenue Rd) with free street parking on both streets. There is no washroom and very little shade. The equipment is the current "standard" pieces for kids playground. Having the water bottle filling station is very convenient. Easily accessible from both streets for wheelchairs. It is usually not very busy and offers children lots of space.
