    I’m disappointed with my recent experience at Dr. Abrams’ office. My daughter’s eyeglass frames broke, and thankfully they were covered under warranty. About 10 days ago (before the Easter holidays), a staff member took photos of the glasses and said she would order the replacement parts. She also told me I’d be contacted when the parts arrived. Over a week passed with no update — no phone call, no status check-in, nothing. Today, I called the office myself to follow up. The staff asked for my daughter’s name and couldn’t find any record of the order. I had to explain everything again. The woman I spoke with didn’t know what had been ordered, when it was ordered, or even when I had been in. After I described the staff member I originally dealt with, she said she’d check with her and call me back, which she did. She told me the replacement frames (designer, from Italy) could take 2–3 weeks. I understand delays happen, especially with international products — but the lack of communication, tracking, and organization is frustrating. I still don’t know when the parts were ordered or when to expect them. Also, I’ve had past concerns. During a previous visit, the staff member helping my daughter was more focused on selling high-end frames than working within our budget. She was showing my daughter expensive options without acknowledging me — even though I was the one paying. I wasn’t even given a chance to say I might take the prescription elsewhere. They jumped right into trying on glasses and starting the sale. Overall, I haven’t been happy with the service during my last few visits. I’ll wait the full three weeks to see how this issue is resolved and may update this review afterward. But as of now, I’m feeling very let down by both the process and the way we were treated Just following up on my earlier review — after I posted it, Dr. Abrams personally reached out the same day and took care of everything. My daughter and I went back to the office, the staff treated us well, and she got a free eye exam to confirm her updated prescription. We were given the choice to wait for the original designer frames or pick out a new pair on the spot. Since the originals might’ve taken weeks, we went with a new style — even though they were more expensive. The doctor covered the entire cost, including the updated lenses, without charging us anything extra. That meant a lot and showed real care for his patients. Right now, my daughter’s still adjusting to the new prescription and has had a few headaches, but Dr. Abrams explained why and told us to follow up in a few days if it doesn’t improve. He already has a follow-up planned, just in case. I’m updating this to a full 5 stars. The way the situation was handled speaks volumes. Thank you, Dr. Abrams, for standing behind your work and making it right.
