Osler Playground is a fantastic outdoor spot in Toronto where kids can run, climb, and play to their heart's content.

What to expect

This is a classic neighborhood playground with various equipment for children to enjoy. It's an open-air space, so it's best suited for sunny days when kids can explore the swings, slides, and climbing structures. While there are no indoor facilities, it offers a great opportunity for active outdoor fun.

Best for

Perfect for a spontaneous outdoor play session for toddlers and older children on a nice day.

What parents say

This area is a little park that has an abundance of mature trees on its property. The result is that there is lots of shade provided s. There is also a playground on the land which provides an opportunity for little ones in the neighbourhood to play and develop co-ordination skills .

It is a great community park, great for smaller children and community events. Currently being overrun by dog owners. I am all for dog parks but there is no infrastructure so you have dog poo everywhere, bags left on the fence, dogs drinking out of the water fountain and the school field is now trashed

The field next to the playground is overrun by dogs off leash and their entitled owners despite signage indicating dogs need to be leashed and picked up after and several picnic tables on the grounds currently. While the park is set to be renovated starting in fall 2023 to include an off leash area, multiple owners are referring to and treating the current field as an off leash area/dog park when it is meant to be inclusive to the general public.

They're building a new dog park here! It's in the works, but there's a great fenced area here that's already been taken over by dogs and their dog-loving owners. Great community park. Not too empty, not too busy, not too far from home (for a lot of locals here) - just right! The kids playground is pretty sweet too, big & lots of features.

It used to be a green field and track where kids could throw balls, older folks walk laps, people exercise. Many local kids learned to ride bikes here. Now it’s a dog toilet.
