  It gives me superb pleasure to write a review of the Oxford, Newmarket location on behalf of my family who enjoyed their services for the past year. The staff, (in particular, Anna-Maria who was always so accommodating), ensured our learner's skill set in the tutoring environment met the teachers' expectations in the classroom. This ensured knowledge gaps in learning were kept at bay. Most particularly as COVID wreaked havoc on our young children's learning, Oxford was a tremendous support to the family in times of great need ensuring our learner was on track with all provincial requirements and expectations. The interchangeability between in person and online tutoring was executed with great precision and care. What we enjoyed most was knowing there were additional expert eyes and ears on the learners individual needs so that between school and home and Oxford, there were no educational components lost or risk of losing accumulated learning that may have somehow slipped through the cracks with so much change. For instance, if our learner had an upcoming test that Anna-Maria wanted to ensure they were well prepared for, she would go above and beyond to offer an extended hand to ensure they were very well prepared. She asked questions to ensure our learner was confident before sending them off to the challenge at hand. Oxford consistently supported our erratic schedules and never made us pay the price for having insanely busy lives. Anna-Maria even created an end of year party just for the virtual classroom which is a very special, generous and thoughtful thing to do most especially when learners have been feeling so disconnected as a result of the pandemic. The best part? Our learners grades improved and all tests were passed with high marks! What a great feeling of preparation in time for graduation and High School! Thank you Anna-Maria? Thank you Neil! Thank you Oxford and thank you for setting our amazing learner up for future success! We will miss you!

  Brianne and her team have been absolutely amazing! My daughter struggled with reading and writing in English, and I’ve watched her become so confident and motivated to learn. Brianne and Tracy have done an amazing job following my daughter’s IEP strategies and communicating with her school . I am so grateful for their understanding and support.   My daughter started with Oxford at the beginning of the school year. She is currently in Grade 2 French Immersion program. She progressed very well academically this year with the help of Oxford. Brianne and the other tutors are all wonderful teachers and they really take the time to help kids understand the subject and keep them engaged. I highly recommend them!

Brianne has created an inclusive and welcoming environment and always greets students and parents with a smile. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping students succeed.   I can't say enough how happy I am Brianne and Oxford learning Newmarket. I signed up my daughter for English and math and my son for French tutoring. (Both are in french immersion school) From day on my kids have loved (and are excited to go) every session. The environment is so calm and welcoming. Zoe, Melissa and Brianne have made learning fun and more importantly help with their self confidence. The communication with Brianne is easy and she's always available with any questions I may have.
