$10 for a small peppercorn sandwich. It’s a cheesesteak right? So why does the cheese only cover about half of the steak??? Two stars only because it tastes pretty good. Good service can’t make up for product shortcomings. This is why businesses die… just make the product right and charge 50 cents more for it.

Stopped by Philthy Philly’s in Aurora last Thursday evening and had a great experience! The food was excellent - fresh, flavourful, and a great value for the price. You really get your money’s worth here. The two young ladies working that night were professional, friendly, and clearly knew their stuff. They made the ordering process easy and enjoyable. The store itself was very clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. It wasn’t too busy, so the timing worked out perfectly for a relaxed dinner. All around, a excellent choice for a tasty meal and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

Dropped into Philthy Philly’s for a late lunch with my son. The atmosphere was laid back, and the service was friendly. We appreciated chatting it up with Tyler, who was hospitable and more than willing to help us avoid my son’s food allergies — peanuts and sesame seeds. In addition to the hospitality, I was very impressed with how well maintained the restaurant feels. The washrooms are very clean, and their “share your business card” wall really reflects the pride they take in their service to the community. Overall, the food is fairly priced, delicious — comforting even — and served with professional courtesy. It quickly became one of my son’s favorite restaurants in the area — and mine as well.

Got the Meat Eater poutine. The Philthy size poutine is pretty big. It could use a bit more meat, but it’s still tasty overall. Service was great, my only minor complaint was the flimsy plastic fork, which made it tough to eat.
