The teachers are incredibly patient, nurturing, and attentive. They understand that toddlers are learning through every experience—whether it’s a sensory activity, a group story, or navigating big emotions. There’s a beautiful balance of structure and flexibility, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace while feeling supported every step of the way.

If you are considering sending you child here, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. My daughter started here for preschool daycare in September and I pulled her out after a single day. I have absolutely no confidence in the quality of care provided and did not feel my child was safe or adequately cared for during her short time here. I had arranged with the administrator that we would do a 1-hour visit on my daughter's first day. Upon arrival, her teachers were unaware of this arrangement - the first of many major gaps in communication. We were not informed that for early drop off (before 8:30am), it's entirely different teachers present. When my daughter was dropped off for her first full day, she didn't know the teachers and we had never been introduced which resulted in a very stressful transition for her. There is no communication with parents while children are in care - they do not use an app like Lilio. Upon pick-up, her teachers could not tell me whether she napped or not. My daughter was in the "Extended Day" preschool program - a very misleading name. Her spot ended at 2:30pm each day. This is purely a money-making arrangement for Play Loft. They charge the same about of money for this as the full-day spots but they reallocate the "Extended Day" teachers to after-school pick-up. These were the major red flags that led me to pull my daughter from care but there are a number of other inconvenient and questionable things about Play Loft: - Children in the "Extended Day" preschool program get no outdoor time and do not get a cubby - It's extremely inconvenient to do drop-off here. There is nowhere safe/covered to leave a stroller while going inside and the stroller parking is comically small Play Loft retained my 2-month deposit, despite the circumstances and offered no explanation or apology for our experience.

I can confidently recommend Play Loft to anyone who asks me for advice. Both my kids loved it! My older son is 6 and the younger one is 2. The administration and the teachers are all very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well organized. It is definitely a lot of fun for kids <3

There is no other preschool I would recommend as much as Playloft. I have four young children: my eldest started in January 2023 and graduated from Playloft in June 2024 and is thriving in Kindergarten, my daughter is attending the extended day preschool program and my twins will attend preschool next year when they turn 2.5. All of the teachers are incredibly engaging, nurturing, and attentive and the staff is equally professional and responsive (every email is answered within hours; regular texts with teachers, etc). I know every single teacher and have the utmost confidence in them. I hear my childrens stories of their time at school and smile knowing they are so well cared for and loved. We don’t even live as close as we used to, and I will still make the trek to bring my twins because I truly believe this place is special. Drop off is easy and seamless (you can fold a stroller and leave it inside, or park it outside if you’re taking it back home). There is ample space to change shoes and leave coats. You can walk your child right into their classroom. Pick up is also calm and quiet. I toured MANY facilities. I have high standards. Playloft is a gem.

I love playloft. They have treated my daughter with the utmost care and you can tell that all the teachers genuinely love to be there. Not only are the teachers great but even the management staff were there to help my daughter through some of her tough transitions. I also, love the fact that my daughter learns so much there. For a play based learning environment I find my daughter coming home with new learnings such as letters and associations. They have a Montessori teacher there that really makes this daycare above and beyond any other I visited when looking for a Daycare to put my child in. I find my daughter is excited to learn and this makes me happy. I love the fact that they have an indoor playground for those rough weather days (we do have a lot of those in Toronto). All in all I have had an amazing experience with Playloft. I would recommend enrolling your child in this school.
