  We had the opportunity of touring several child care centres before making a decision for our son. Polka dot was by far the best choice. Everyone there is extremely welcoming, even the teachers from different classes know my son by name. The facility is clean, bright and most importantly my son shows up everyday happy and excited to go to his class. There’s nothing more reassuring than knowing my son is surrounded by teachers who care for him like their own. It makes all the difference.

  Facility wise it is good. Being a new facility that is what you expect. However, during our conversation we felt they have a commercialized and mechanical approach compared to a couple of another day cares that we visited for our kid. We were reminded about the extra activities (Yoga, Music) a number of times & these are paid activities. Don't think that is needed for a 2 year old kid.

  This is an excellent new daycare in Guelph. The space is bright, clean, and promotes positive learning through guidance and play. My child has been enjoying and looks forward to going there every day, as the teachers are wonderful. I love seeing them making new friends! The outdoor spaces are also really nice! Highly recommend!

  They are amazing, it has been almost 3 month that my son is in this daycare, at first it was hard to all of us, it was the first time that he had to be separated from me and his father, but Arsh and Haithel (Not sure if I am spelling their name correct, forgive me if I'm not) did their best to make a friendship with him, he loves both of them and they are very kind! He did not know how to go to the bathroom by himself, he did not know English, but now, he does everything by himself and know how to speak English! They were very patient and put lots of effort! There was a slight issue with some kids there which made my son not wanting to go, but when I talked to them and told them how he feels about some kids in their class, I don't know how, but they took care of the problem and he was OK again. Thank you! You are amazing! I appreciate your hard work! Meeting these two lovely person was the best thing that happened to my son! He is a very happy kid right now! I should mention that I see other teachers are very nice and kind to my son too! All parents and kids are always smiling there :) P.S: I should mention that, once I saw a kid, falling down accidently while he was playing, and started crying, and both teachers immediately ran to him and hug him and calmed and caressed that child until he stopped crying and they were sure that he was OK. I mean, kids play, they might fall down, they might cry, but being sure that a safe person is there to nurture them is all a parent wants while they are away.

  We feel incredibly lucky to have found Polka Dot Academy Montessori Daycare in Guelph. From the very beginning, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Our daughter started in the infant room, and we were immediately blown away by the warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care shown by the teachers. They treated our little one like family—nurturing her, encouraging her curiosity, and always communicating with us so thoughtfully. It gave us such peace of mind to know she was in loving, capable hands every single day. As she grew and recently transitioned into the toddler room, we were naturally a bit nervous, but the transition was handled so beautifully by the staff. The educators worked closely with us and made sure our daughter was comfortable, supported, and excited for the next step in her development. The consistency, communication, and gentle approach made what could have been a challenging change feel seamless. Now, walking into Polka Dot feels like coming home. Our daughter lights up when she sees her teachers and friends. She’s learning so much, building confidence, and truly thriving in this nurturing Montessori environment. We are beyond grateful to the entire team at Polka Dot Academy for the love and care they provide every day—they’ve become an extended part of our family. Highly, highly recommend!
