Full transparency I don’t know anyone who dances or is an owner of this studio. I just finished watching four days of incredibly talented young people dance their hearts out at Fever dance competition, and as the parent of a dancer from another studio (hours away) I was completely captivated by a stunning number called Rise Up. I was moved to tears as you beautifully represented all young women and girls and all their potential. Dancers be very proud of yourselves and thank your teacher for creating such a moving piece. Well done Protégés studio!! “Rise Up” best performance of the weekend. 🤫 😉 TY

My daughter started dance at Protégé Dance Company 8 years ago. I can’t even begin to put into words how much she has grown in this studio, not just as a dancer and an assistant but also as a person. She is challenged and genuinely cared for and in turn, she continues to flourish and she is committed to her studio, her teachers and to her team. If you are looking for a studio with tremendous heart, beautiful choreography and an outstanding work ethic then I highly recommend Protégé Dance Company.

My daughter has danced at Protege Dance Company for 8 years.  She has been a part of the recreational program as well as the competitive program. Recreational students are in a great, safe environment.  They learn both dance skills and life skills, self confidence, and they develop good friends. As a part of the competitive team they also learn much more about team work, discipline and perseverance. The quality of the teachers is excellent.   Whether recreational or competitive,  the teaching is very consistent from year to year. Protege Dance Company is a fun, inclusive,  safe, and encouraging atmosphere for your child.

My journey with Protege Dance Company began in 2018, and since then, I've immersed myself in various adult classes, spanning from beginner ballet to jazz, tap, hip hop, and conditioning barre. Without fail, whenever there's a weeknight free on my calendar, you'll find me at Protege. The studio boasts an incredible environment, fostered by a team of exceptional and knowledgeable staff who make you feel truly welcomed and at home. Attending two of their competitive showcases was a testament to the studio's excellence. The routines were nothing short of fantastic! For parents seeking a studio for their child, I wholeheartedly recommend Protege. Having personally taken classes with outstanding instructors like Miss Christine, Miss Lexie, Miss Chelsea, and Miss Holly, and Miss Helm, I can attest to their dedication, expertise, and care extended to every student, regardless of age. Beyond dance skills, Protege instills valuable principles in young dancers, shaping them to become better individuals both inside and outside the studio. The atmosphere exudes warmth and inclusivity; even while waiting in the lobby amidst fellow dancers and parents, you feel embraced. Whether you're seeking a studio for your child or simply craving a fun way to stay active as an adult, Protege Dance Company is the place to be. Highly recommended for its nurturing environment, exceptional instruction, and the opportunity to become part of a supportive dance community.

Protégé (PDC) is a dance studio like no other I have ever come across or experienced. I am proud to have joined when PDC first opened, and had the privilege of dancing here for years until I graduated. I still love dancing recreationally to this day as an adult, and the skills I learned here (both on and off the stage) were foundational and remain eternal in my career and life. The studio owner, Christine, has created an unmatched level of excellence that is truly staggering and sets PDC apart from any other studio in Ontario: -the teaching and deep love of dance technique -the competitive and recreational programs tailored to each age group -the phenomenal choreography across a wide variety of dance styles that has earned PDC a reputation for standout performances -the diverse and talented teaching staff -the expertly-produced annual competitive showcase and year-end recital -the modern and well-maintained facilities -the accredited dance examinations -the professional daily operations of the studio Most importantly, the culture of hard work, growth-mentality, sportsmanship, friendship, acceptance, kindness, and belonging at this studio are beyond words. I always felt completely welcomed, safe, and deeply happy at PDC - I look back on the years spent here as some of the best of my life. The teachers take the time to bond with each student, see their true potential, and help them to succeed in life (in the studio, in school, and in the world). Any child (or adult!) would be beyond lucky to get to experience being a PDC dancer. How I wish I could step out onto that studio floor and recital stage one more time.. Protégé Alum for life!!!
