I went to get some info for my daughter a guy opened door and said “what?” No hello hi how are you ? By seeing this I just walked away. Looks like he is very much irritated I don’t want to leave my child with such negativity. It was around 13:00 today. Clearly he was pissed or tired from work.

My daughter has been attending for almost a year now she has learned some much from sign language to singing songs. She is always happy to be dropped off and always appears happy when I pick her up these things are the most important part for me.

This place always has openings. Ask yourself why that is. These are my experiences: My child became sick during the day and the manager put her hands up my child's shirt multiple times to take his temperature and left in a room alone until I arrived. Management obviously denies this but my son cried the whole way home when I pick him up. They also didn't bother calling me. Children get left in the rain without rain gear because according to the manager: they get "caught by surprise by weather" I've seen babies outside, sitting in water and left to cry while none of the staff acknowledge them. The centre has no green space so babies are left on the concrete, rolling around in dirt and sand. I was given daily injury reports before I pulled my kids. There is something seriously wrong with the supervision here. I would pick my kids up wearing someone else's clothes at the end of the day and staff never knew why. This centre doesn't acknowledge children's food allergies. When an incident with your children occurs, the centre will call one contact on your emergency contact list, leave a message and never bother to call anyone else. My child was injured and I received a phone call to my home phone while I was at work. I work in an office and they didn't call my work number once. If you're late picking up at your usual time due to traffic, the manager threatens to charge you a late pickup fee even though the centre is open for several more hours. There was high staff turnaround and they generally seem aloof and have no idea how my child's day went. This place is also the most expensive daycare center I've ever come across.

My children have learned lots and had positive experiences with the staff here. They love doing art and come home singing new songs all the time. I appreciate the centre celebrating special days or holidays with the children and putting in the effort to educate and make it fun for the kids.

I highly recommend PPCC in Port Coquitlam; staff is professional, polite, attentive to every child, and polite. My child attended daycare, and was very happy to attend daycare, and she loved a lot her teachers! While I was working, I knew that my child was in a welcomed and safe environment.
