This is a very poorly run facility. Firstly, I will say that I am a regular at this community centre and it is genuinely a beautiful facility. It is a shame however that there is a major lack of organization and respect for the community members. Their program schedules are inaccurate, regularly scheduled programs are frequently changed last minute with no notice, and even when calling to confirm program availability - you can expect to arrive to said program being cancelled. These are frequent occurrences and unfortunate as people travel to use these facilities and plan their time around these schedules which are often completely disregarded. I am aware that these things can happen, however there should be a greater effort to notify the community members of changes in schedule and more accuracy in the information provided via program schedules/staff communications. Additionally, I can understand how these instances are not always at fault of the staff, however the hostility and inability to take accountability for these situations only further contributes to the negative experience. Multiple staff members have been rude, dismissive, and antagonistic all while acting as if they are not inconveniencing the same community they’re here to serve. All it takes to resolve these ordeals is care, understanding, and an effort to improve. Unfortunately all of which are hard to come by at this location. Ultimately, I am saddened to write this review as I’ve spent many hours at this facility, but after multiple negative experiences between the operations and the staff - it can no longer be ignored. Big waste of potential from a beautiful community centre thats home to a great community of people.

A nice looking community centre, but keeping the only accessible washrooms locked at all times and requiring people to talk to an employee (who don’t seem to be at the desk half the time) is a huge unnecessary added barrier to accessibility that takes away disabled folks agency and ability to do things for themselves. Very disappointing considering city run facilities tend to do well when it comes to accessibility - can’t say the same for this place at all.

Very isolated place. Scary to walk night time. Lot of homeless people around. Better avoid coming in this area. There is a Dufferin school around this place, dont know how kids go to school in this area. Not safe. Not recommended.

The open concept of having gymnasium with weight room is really stupid. The amount of noise and echo when there's basketball, soccer, or any other activity will drive you nuts and you will get a headache while using the weigh room.
