We recently visited Ripley’s Aquarium with my family including my wife, my parents, and our 18 month old twins. It was a really enjoyable experience for all of us. The place is clean, well organized, and has a beautiful collection of fish and sea animals. The underwater tunnel was the best part and our twins were very excited watching the fish swim all around them. The staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. It is easy to walk around even with a stroller and there are many nice spots for photos. It is a great place to spend quality time with family and kids. I would definitely recommend visiting it.

Overall, it was a great experience. We visited on a long weekend, and the place was extremely busy—much more crowded than we expected. There was a huge line to buy tickets, and at first I thought we would be standing there forever. Out of curiosity, I checked the website, and to my surprise, I was able to buy tickets online for the same time and date. We went straight in without waiting at all. So my recommendation: always check the website before standing in line—you might find tickets available online. Once inside, we were honestly surprised by how many people there were. At times, it was hard to even walk because it was so crowded. I understand it was a holiday weekend, so that’s to be expected, but it did make the visit a bit tiring. That said, the aquarium itself is beautiful. There are so many fish and exhibits, and everything is very impressive. We truly enjoyed the experience despite the crowds. I highly recommend it, especially for families with older kids. I’m not sure it would be very interesting for children under three, but for older kids—and even adults—it’s really exciting and fascinating to explore. We were genuinely impressed and had a great time. Definitely worth a visit!

An Underwater Wonderland in the Heart of the City Ripley's Aquarium is easily one of the best attractions in Toronto. It’s immersive, beautifully designed, and feels like a total escape from the busy city outside. * The Highlight: The "Dangerous Lagoon" is the showstopper. The moving sidewalk takes you through a massive underwater tunnel where sharks, sea turtles, and sawfish swim directly overhead. It’s a mesmerizing experience you can’t get anywhere else. * Visuals: The "Planet Jellies" exhibit is stunning. The backlit, color-changing tanks make for incredible photos and a surprisingly relaxing atmosphere. * Experience: It’s very hands-on. The touch tanks where you can feel the stingrays (and even horseshoe crabs) add a great interactive layer that kids and adults both love. * Convenience: Located right at the base of the CN Tower, it’s super easy to get to and pairs perfectly with other downtown sightseeing. The Verdict: Whether you are a family with kids or looking for a cool date spot, this aquarium is well worth the ticket price.

The aquarium is a classic place. Very fun activity to do with your loved ones. Super family friendly and a great place to go on a date. The entire walk took us around 2 hours. Honestly a magical experience. We got the coin souvenir for $6 each! In my opinion this is a simple, beautifully designed and affordable souvenir that I will look back on fondly!

Pretty good aquarium. Went on Valentine’s day, so it was very busy, but not terrible. I bought flex tickets in advance, so we didn’t have to wait long to get in. My favorite part was the moving walkway that takes you through a tunnel with different fish and sharks all around. There was also an area to pet stingrays that was pretty cool. There’s a food court and play areas for kids, as well as tunnels and areas that allow them to be almost inside the tanks. Definitely a worthwhile family trip if you are in the Toronto area.
