My youngest has enjoyed her time at River Parkway Children’s Centre, from their wonderful facility to the caring and nurturing staff to the delicious and varied menu. The teachers are warm and considerate, the programming is well planned and engaging and we will be sad to leave for JK in the fall! I feel confident at drop off every morning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend RPCC.

This place is second to none. My review is lengthy. My daughter started here when she was 15 months old and were we ever blessed to have been accepted into such a warm, inclusive, caring, sensitive and dedicated Centre. Our daughter spends her days with incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional ECEs. The ECEs at this location are leaders, in my opinion, and set an example of how children ought to be cared for and educated. The very fact that many staff stay for decades really emphasizes the genuine childcare environment that is respectful, inspiring and exemplary. My daughter enjoys going to daycare and seeing her proudly walk into the Centre to see her friends and special educators just melts my heart (yes, there are days when she sheds tears and that's only because she doesn't want to leave Mama). Each day she spends time outdoors in their beautiful green space, explores and develops her creative and crafty skills, enjoys healthy snacks and lunches, moves and grooves to lively music depending on the season/celebration/holiday/event, boost her imagination and listening skills during story time, and also has a chance to boost her confidence and self-esteem during structured/unstructured play times, either independently or with her peers. Her days are filled with activity, value and meaning, exploration and curiosity, love and laughter, happiness and ,sometimes, sadness (kids must learn boundaries!), and endless opportunities that simply foster healthy development. I also value the conversations that I have with the ECEs and other Centre staff. I always feel welcome and never judged. In fact, I have shared concerns with my daughter's ECEs and I have always left those conversations feeling supported or relieved knowing that my concerns about my daughter are part of normal development and not cause for concern. This matters to me because allowing space and time to have these conversations without feeling dismissed is a true sign of genuine care and concern among staff and this tells me (among other things, of course) that my daughter is in the best of hands. My daughter has grown and developed into such a strong and confident little girl. She started at 15 months of age and was the youngest in her class. She started copying the older kids and I distinctly remember one time passing her a cup of water and she turned it away because she wanted a cup without a lid! This was at 15 months! She was learning from the older kids and I was just so impressed. I also witnessed her go from independent play to interactive play with her peers and that is such a sight to see. Seeing your child hold hands with a friend and seeing both laugh and derive happiness from that interaction makes your heart grow two sizes bigger! I'm so glad she's getting these varied and wonderfully meaningful experiences at such a young age. This place is setting my daughter up for success in life. I am one fortunate Mama. Thank you RPCC for all that you do. The legacy you have is priceless and we are ever so grateful to be part of your history.

We are really happy with River Parkway. The staff are excellent. You can tell they care for each child. The facilities are great. Both indoor and outdoor options. We are really glad we were able to get our toddler into here.

River Parkway is by far one of the very best childcare centre you can place your little one in. After months of searching and interviewing multiple providers, this hidden gem proved to be a fantastic place for our son. Every educator is certified and extremely friendly. Our LO loves attending RPCC, which makes dropoffs easy and pickups hard. (A good problem to have)

Both of my daughters attend(ed) River Parkway Children's Centre. It is a beautiful facility, but more important the staff are great. My girls love them all. They provide good nutritious food, and a safe and happy environment.
