The teachers are so caring and kind. The creative play and singing and dancing are inspiring for the little ones. The safety and details are always a consideration. The outdoor play is excellent at this school. I could not be happier with this wonderful environment for my last little one. Excellent location, beautiful and a lovely Montessori school.

  The Seedlings Preschool is wonderful! I have 3 children and have lived in 3 different cities across Alberta - this is by far the best child care center I have experienced. Wonderful staff, beautiful space, great programming with lots of music, art and Spanish Language. Highly recommend!

  Our daughter began attending Seedlings when she was 2.5 years old. The amount of compassion, care and affection that was shown to her as she transitioned into preschool was very much appreciated by our family. She is now 4 and clearly has benefited, not just in her ability to speak and comprehend Spanish but in her understanding of letters, numbers, and English. She has also cultivated an affinity for crafting that clearly has been fostered in this amazing program. She adores her teachers and they clearly invest a great deal of time with her in 1 - 1 time as well as fabulous interaction with other children in a very clean, safe environment. Cannot say enough about this incredible program.

  Our daughter has been with Seedlings for the last two years. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in the Spanish language (or really anyone looking for caring, responsive care for their children). We’ve found the teachers to be kind, nurturing, thoughtful, and very capable. The staff-to-student ratios are ideal for small group learning and ensuring our daughter gets plenty of one-on-one attention. We appreciate the art portfolios and progress reports that the school provides. We also love the HiMama app. It simplifies communication with the school and teacher, and we love the daily photos and videos. Thanks to Miss Yenni, Miss Imi, Miss Sonia, Miss Gina, and all of the other wonderful teachers and staff! Seedlings sounds like a great school and program, but we were ultimately drawn to them after visiting the school in person. The classroom is carefully laid out so everything is accessible and welcoming to young children. It's warm, inviting, and full of the children's projects from throughout the year. It felt like the kind of place we would want to be ourselves, if we were children. Seedlings is Reggio-based, but aspects of Montessori that we were drawn to: a child-led approach, carefully prepared environment, the teacher as a guide, and mixed-age classrooms, were better represented in Seedlings than in any other school we visited. While neither parent speaks Spanish, our daughter comes home singing Spanish songs and surprising us with her comprehension of Spanish children’s books we pick up at the library. It’s clear that the way Spanish-learning is facilitated here is immersive, fun, and memorable for her. The variety of activities and creative work the students do on a daily basis is fantastic. The children get plenty of outdoor time, with a variety of nearby options for outings (and a large, indoor gym space for smoky days). Our kiddo particularly loves yoga and water fun days. The teachers have also done a wonderful job putting together the children's end-of-year and Christmas concerts. We're so grateful to have found Seedlings!

  If you're looking for a top-notch childcare program, I highly recommend Seedlings! I have firsthand experience with their bilingual program at the Downtown-Scarboro location, and it has been fantastic for my two children. Why is Seedlings my top recommendation? Here are the reasons: 1. The teachers are fantastic - supportive, enthusiastic, and genuinely caring. Seeing how much my kids adore their teachers has been heartwarming. 2. The curriculum is excellent - the daily Spanish, music, art, and science classes. The spacious gym provides a great opportunity to keep my kids physically active during long winters. 3. The small group sizes are a big plus - my kids get ample one-on-one time with the teachers, creating a stronger bond. This helps them feel safe and secure while also developing friendships with their peers. 4. The mixed-age groups at Seedlings have been a game-changer for me. I chose this program because I wanted both of my kids to participate in the same program. I have noticed that my younger child has been learning a lot from the older kids, who are nurturing towards her. It ensures continuity of care and minimizes the number of transitions between caregivers. I can't thank Miss April, Miss Gina, and the other teachers at the Scarboro location enough for taking such exceptional care of my children. They love their teachers, and it is all thanks to the outstanding care they receive at Seedlings.
