The hygienist (Nunji) was thorough and friendly the front desk employees are all helpful and kind. The reason for the 2 star review is because I did not have a good time when I came back for a follow up appointment to have a filling done. To start off Dr. Cohen scratched his eye before he began working on me and did not change his gloves. The dental syringe he used to inject numbing was absolutely massive, the barrel alone looked longer than the length of my hand. I don't see why he chose such a huge one since he was working on a tooth close to the front and this was just a filling. The first drill he used seemed typical but the second one vibrated my whole dang head, I have since learned that was probably a low speed drill but I would have appreciated context during the appointment. Overall I found it quite stressful and unpleasant which was new, I haven't become afraid during a dentist's appointment before. Afterwards the filling made my mouth taste like metal and the fit was wrong; I had a big gap on one side of the tooth that kept getting filled with food. I decided to go to a new dentist's office to have it totally redone even if it meant I would have to pay out of pocket and it went much smoother.

Great reception desk staff who are both friendly and efficient. Dr. Jiwani is a pleasure to have as a dentist. She explains everything very clearly and is very attentive to your comfort.
