  We couldn't be happier entrusting our little one to the care of the wonderful staff at Shining Stars day care. They communicate everything that happens during the day and take into consideration all of our requests and wishes. The teachers, in particular Mr. Harry, Ms. Amoy, Ms. Mandeep Kaur take the time to make each child feel special and loved. For a first time mom, this type of care and attention to detail is invaluable. My son adores his teachers and would recommend this facility to anyone!

  My daughter has been at Shining Stars Montessori in the CASA 2 for over a year now and we could not be happier to have found such a professionally run school with caring teachers who are very educated in their field. When you walk into the classroom, you are always greeted with a smile and the teachers are very engaged and in tune with the kids and their specific needs. They also have an open ear for any information I want to share in regards to my daughter, weather at drop off in the morning or at pick up time. I cannot say enough good things about teacher Ms. Cathy, who encourages the children to problem solve and become critical, independent thinkers by allowing them to explore, experiment and discover in a safe, guided environment. I am particularly impressed about how much communication happens in the classroom. My daughter is constantly learning new words to express ideas and feelings and the daily book discussions have increased her vocabulary tremendously. She knows that asking questions is always welcome and her confidence about her newly acquired knowledge shows every day. Mealtimes are also very meaningful as it is a shared, relaxed time where the children learn to serve themselves, help others and clean up by themselves as much as they can. My daughter has adopted this at home and it has become a routine to set and clean the table after meals, which makes us happy and she feels very accomplished at the same time. Also, having a mixed age group has taught my daughter much about cooperative learning and made her aware of her own role within the group. Finally, I am impressed with the program's flexibility when it comes to my daughter's schedule. There have been days where I had to drop off my daughter earlier or pick her up later or even switch days and teacher Ms. Cathy has always been more than accommodating about any changes. I wholeheartedly recommend Shining Stars Montessori to any family who embraces the Reggio philosophy!

  My son has had a wonderful experience at Shining Stars. Ms.Cathy has worked closely with him in Casa 2 to help him with daily routines, phonetic awareness and number sense. The care and love he receives from Ms. Cathy and the whole Shining Stars team is absolutely wonderful. Ms. Cathy’s patience and positive attitude is so refreshing to see. I would recommend this school to all first time parents.

  My son has been attending Shining Stars Montessori for 3 years now and I am very pleased. The teachers are amazing!! They are attentive, they have a lot of patience with each child, and most importantly they are committed to making sure my son succeeds in all areas of his learning abilities. They show a genuine love and care for my son which is important for me as a parent to know that not only is his environment safe but also that the people caring for him actually care and have his best interest at heart. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants to start their child off in the right direction of a bright future.
