  Unqualified staff, directors that refuse to listen to parent concerns , young staff on their phones constantly, catty unprofessional care givers that say one thing to you but, tell very different stories to co-workers. And apparently, no one could tell me what happened to my daughter after I was called to come get her because she split her chin open & needed to be rushed to emergency for stitches! Four stitches in a 3.5yr chin is a big gash...and no saw what happened. This happened to another little girl there as well! And they didn’t file the report with licensing either. And many other not so good things I could mention. I do not recommend start smart at all!!!

  Couldnt be happier with our sons daycare at Start Smart Kind teachers that really care and they keep you updated in the app as the day goes on. I was so nervous leaving my son after maternity leave and this place will def make you feel comfortable :)

  SSCC has been our daughter's care provider for 3 years. They are attentive, do so many fun things with the kids, have a great outdoor space and the teachers are absolutely amazing. Every teacher knows each child, even if they are in a different classroom. The directors are so amazing and involved in the day to day care the centre provides.

  Start Smart daycare is fantastic! The staff is caring and attentive, and the environment is always clean and engaging. Highly recommend this daycare for a nurturing and fun atmosphere!

  This used to be a great environment. My family was here for many years. It was sold several months ago to new Owners and is now completely miss managed and a totally different place. The new Owners are rude and dismissive. They completely ignore parent inquiries about the care being provided. They treat the staff poorly and it has become a hostile environment for them. Several long term staff have left the business in the last few weeks which has been tough on my family as there are bonds in place that have been severed. I understand that more staff intend to leave. Families have begun to leave. They broadcast what should be private messaging on communal text channels completely invading your families privacy. They also charge you for special field trips off site and then don’t actually take the children on the field trip you have paid for. Then when you inquire regarding being refunded for the missed field trip they don’t know when or how they will pay you back. It is my opinion that they have every intention of keeping my money. This environment is awful. And after many years here, sadly, it is no longer a fit for us. Given how they treat staff it is going to be a revolving door of bad staff that constantly need to be hired in a pinch to meet ratio. Not for my family, thanks.
