Great family style Greek stop The lady at the front was super nice. I thought this place was more of a full restaurant. Turns out they have 4 tables and a small patio. The rest of the business is takeout. Food here was solid Decor was classis Price was fair Worth a stop if you are looking for easy stop. I highly recommend.

I recently went to Stavros for the first time with a friend for lunch. I was shocked that I had to pay for parking. When I went inside the restaurant I was surprised to see that there was not much seating and that we had to share the table with others. As for the food, I asked what they recommended and was told the chicken souvlaki dinner, which I ordered. I am sorry to say that it was terrible. The chicken was very dry and the salad was not as fresh as it should be. The rice was average and the potatoes were great. My friend ordered the lamb souvlaki dinner and ask the cashier about the quality of the lamb before ordering. Unfortunately, her lamb was not edible, as it was too dry and tough to swallow. We politely let the cashier know. Since I could not finish my food, they had the opportunity to inspect it again when they cleared the table. I was surprised that we did not receive a formal apology from the manager or owner, a discount or anything else to make up for the very poor food. The food wasn't cheap (i.e. $25) and I think it would have been both cheaper and better and we would have been more comfortable in a mall foot court plus we wouldn't have had to pay for parking. So all and all, I would not recommend this restaurant. To the Stavros Team - Although I appreciate your reply, it didn't go over well with me since you did not apologize for what mattered the most. You apologized for not meeting our expectations but not for serving us food that was not edible ! As mentioned, my friend could not swallow the lamb because it was so incredibly dry !!! (My chicken was better then her lamb but not by much.) There is a big difference between a customer not liking the food and the food not being edible and unfortunately for us the meat we were served was inedible. Given that the inedible meat was the main item on the plate, you can't honestly tell me that the price we paid was worth it for just the salad, rice and potatoes. My advice, don't deflect and take ownership of your mistakes ! Truth be told, if you had handled your mistake differently when I was in your restaurant I would not have left this review and might have returned depending on how well you handled the situation.

First time we came was a couple years back (we live in KW so we don’t come here often) however I always bring Stravos up when wanting Greek food. We have a go to place in KW but this place is WOW!! The lamb is fantastic and fresh off the grill same goes for the pork - the servings are also very generous. Nicely seasoned and delicious. Potatoes melt in your mouth and the rice is fluffy and simple (reminds me of my grandmas). It came with some pita that soaked the residual flavours from the meat & potatoes 10/10. As someone who’s spent a lot of time in Greece this place is definitely a go to. The (owner I believe) is extremely kind and helpful! Obviously nothing will compare to the real deal but this is the closest to😌

This place is an absolute gem! Food was prepared with care and the atmosphere felt very warm and relaxed. It’s the kind of spot that instantly puts you at ease - almost as if you’ve been here before. What really stood out was the staffs friendliness and genuine hospitality. I felt welcomed right from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food and a heartfelt dining experience!

We have been ordering from here for years and have always loved the food. The quality is still pretty good after all this time- the value may be going down. Highly recommend the rice- this stuff is addictive and literally the reason we keep coming back, with the lemon potatoes high on our list as well. The greek salad is also well made and tasty and a decent size for the larger option. The only questionable item in our order was the chicken souvlake skewer- apparently two skewers consist of 8 pieces- see the picture- that is what $12 gets you. The value on that is not the same as it used to be- I guess the way to go is order the platters and get more food than needed. However, it's still one of the best greek places in Streetsville.
