  Both my children have attended this center, even after we moved away further west. The long commute is worth it because I know my children are safe and cared for while my husband and I are at work. The educators are so caring and the director is honest and treats all the kids as if they were part of her family. I have nothing but positive things to say about this center.

  Love this daycare! The staff are always very friendly, accommodating to my schedule and my child's needs and they always kept us up to date with what is happening, via email, messages, the app and monthly newsletters. They use an app called himama so we can see what they have been up to during the day including pictures and videos. The space is large with big windows and has a decent sized playyard. In the case of emergency, Lindsay and her team have been excellent at responding appropriately and quickly including keeping families updated about the concern - whether it's a Tornado or medical related emergency, I feel like my kids were in good hands. When everything closed during the pandemic they even set up an online group so the kids could still see their friends virtually. I personally feel they were attentive with COVID protocols. Policies followed and updates passed on to families. Both of my children love going and even though we moved out of the immediate area, we do the extra drive to keep them at this daycare because we like it so much!

  Stepping Up Daycare is a 5+ Daycare in the Nepean area in so many ways! The centre itself is warm and inviting and their educators are dedicated and engaging! Both of my girls have went through Stepping Up and each day woke up excited to go to daycare and have made positive friendship connections over the years! I especially love the fact that this daycare not only serves healthy and creative meals to our kids, but they follow play based learning curriculum that our Ontario School Boards follow, making our preschoolers that much more ready for kindergarten! The Centre follows the Public Health guidelines to the letter and will ensure that any breakout of illness is communicated immediately to parents and that any child with signs of illness is sent home. Something I very much appreciate! Overall I cannot say enough about this centre and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reputable daycare they can trust! Thank you Stepping UP for educating our children and helping them grow!

  We were so lucky to hear about Stepping Up in a local facebook group. We started our son there at 12 months in the infant room and he is now about to start JK. We have chosen Knoxdale in large part to be able to keep him at Stepping Up in the After Care program. The facility is bright and clean. The staff is kind and attentive. The kids do many educational activities (learning letters, counting, learning about dinosaurs, watching eggs hatch, watching butterflies grow), they also spend a lot of time playing outside, they do art, sing, French circle time, and story time. My son started JK knowing and being able to identify all the letters in both capital and lowercase and their sounds, count in English and French, and many other thing thanks in large part to the great education he had at Stepping Up. My son is always happy to go in the mornings and is always sad to leave. We also love the community of parents. Being part of Stepping Up has been an extremely positive experience for us and we would strongly recommend it!

  We started daycare with Stepping Up over a month ago, and what a wonderful experience so far. As a new mom, pandemic mom and anxious to head back to work and our daighter to start daycare, stepping up and the team ensured we felt comfortable, made our daughter days so fun, and eased all our concerns and shared tons of pictures of our baby girl! Can’t wait for the time ahead, as she grows and sees new things.
