Had our son’s first haircut (18 months) with Sofi. She kept it quick while doing exactly what we were hoping for haircut wise, even while he started fussing and getting upset. She was quick to distract and entertain so he barely had a moment to remember why he was upset in the first place! He ended up leaving with a smile on his face, and we got a “first haircut” certificate with a little lock of hair to hold on to for this sentimental mom ❤️ Will definitely be coming back in the future!

We had the best experience with Sofi, especially for my baby boy’s very first haircut. She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional, and made my little one feel super comfortable from start to finish. As a parent, that calm and gentle approach means everything and Sofi truly has a special way with toddlers. The haircut turned out great, and the whole experience was stress-free and pleasant. I had a wonderful experience with Nancy for my son’s first haircut (19 months old). I was nervous because I wanted to keep some of his beautiful curls and she did a fantastic job. He didn’t cry or get fussy at all and she was so gentle and encouraging. I will definitely be coming back next time he needs a cut.

We took our son in for his very first haircut and Nancy was amazing. She was so patient and made the whole experience easy and stress free. They have laptops for kids to watch shows which is a good distraction. He actually sat through the entire cut, and she was quick and efficient while still doing a great job.

This is a terrific kid-friendly salon! They have about six chairs in the shape of different objects like a car and airplane for kids to sit in. During a cut, staff make an effort to put a show on an iPad to keep kids distracted. We also noticed that our hairdresser Nancy took the time to wipe down her station after she was done with a client, and used a fresh kid-friendly apron for our son. This was re-assuring in that they take the time to keep the stations clean between clients. We noticed the other staff doing the same. Nancy has an admirable amount of patience. Her client before us was not having it and she didn't flinch once. For our son, she listened to our needs, provided a recommendation and gave him a great cut. Our son was the quietest he's ever been at a salon! She also took the time to make him feel calm and chat with us. The salon also has a ball pit where kids can play and several toys to keep them occupied while waiting. Albeit, we noticed the ball pit be filled with kids' hair so it would be nice if it could be wiped down from time-to-time. There is also a large sitting/waiting area and one client washroom for use. We would definitely return and recommend this salon!
