  If I could give this daycare a 10 star, I would :) My son was 12 months old when he started his journey there and has just left for kindergarten. This place was more than just a daycare for us, it was his second home, his and our second family. We were there when Covid was still around and they handled it very well. Milica & Gordana were amazing throughout the years and even planned a very nice summer/graduation party for our graduates. I can't talk enough about the teachers that have touched my son's life. Mrs. Kayan is the most caring teacher with so much patience! My son had the opportunity to be in her class from 2 ish until 4. She helped him get rid of his pacifier, helped him with his potty training, taught him his ABC's and his numbers, taught him how to write his name, be patient and be kind to everyone. Mrs. Kayan, Mrs. Iryna & Mrs. Beljana had so much love for the kids and made his journey at Sunshine Kids so memorable that we will always be grateful for them. They have an onsite chef that cooks and because of that, my son is such a great eater. They have a great menu and a nice variety. It is very clean facility!! Although they were not part of the CWELCC program, I am happy we stuck around because there is no one out there who would be as supportive and who cared for our kids as much as Sunshine Kids did. Thank you for all of these amazing years, we will always hold a special place in our hearts for you!!

  We have been with Sunshine for a while now and we are very happy with Gordana and her team’s care for my daughter. Gordana is a clear communicator, she is an organized, kind person & business owner. She lays out her policies clearly and follows the rules and regulations to the dot. The care and support she & her team give to kids has been noticeable, as our kiddo is thriving, building relationships and we have built community of parents of the cohort of friends that she is growing with. The retention of families/kids for years definitely shows Gordana’s and her team’s diligence and sensitive approach to care. We see Gordana and Sunshine as part of our family and gives us a peace of my as working parents with a school aged kid. In our experience, as a team they are open to feedback and working with you on issues that may come up to resolve in a timely and kind manner. I would recommend Sunshine Kids with a full heart while noticing that every family and their needs are different so everyone needs to so their own research and have realistic expectations from a daycare/business.

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUNSHINE KIDS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are looking for a child care centre that truly goes above and beyond for their children and families, I highly recommend Sunshine Kids. The staff made the transition for my children very smooth, as both settled in within a few days. That alone was a clear indication that they were introduced into a warm and welcoming environment where they felt safe. As a parent, we often worry about our children under the supervision of others but I can confidently say that I drop them off with a peace of mind. The daily check-in’s and updates within the app throughout the day keep me in the loop with all the activities they are taking part in such as arts & crafts, music, child-led play and celebrations. I really appreciate that my child’s daycare provides in-house cooked meals because it gives me peace of mind knowing the food is fresh, thoughtfully prepared and I’m also aware of exactly what ingredients are being used. Every morning, I can smell breakfast cooking as soon as I walk in to drop off, and it instantly gives a warm, welcoming feel (to the point where I want to stay and eat too lol!). I’ve been told that my little one often asks for second (and even third) servings throughout the day, which says a lot about how delicious the meals really are. It’s such a reassuring feeling knowing he’s eating well and enjoying it. Gordana and Milica have done an incredible job building a strong, caring team; every staff member is genuinely kind, knows the children so well, and is always honest about how their day went, whether it was great or had a few bumps. That kind of transparency is something I really value and didn’t experience at our previous centre. On top of all of this, the centre organizes so many celebrations and events throughout the year, which really helps build a sense of community and gives us the chance to connect with other families and children in the same classrooms. Gordana and Milica, you have created such a welcoming, open-door environment where I feel completely comfortable popping in to say hello and ask questions. Thank you to you both and your staff for all that you do ❤️

  We had a very disappointing experience with this daycare. Although our son never attended a single day, we were charged $2,000 for one month of care he never received, in addition to a $1,075 deposit. We completely understand that policies exist and were even willing to forfeit the deposit as a gesture for any inconvenience caused. However, we kindly asked for the $2,000 back, considering no services were provided. The response we received was not only rude but also passive-aggressive, showing a complete lack of empathy. As a young family trying to make the best choices for our child, we were shocked by the lack of compassion. Mistakes and changes happen, what matters is how businesses handle them. Unfortunately, this one chose profit over basic decency. We hope this review encourages the daycare to reconsider how they treat families during what is already a very stressful and emotional time. Please, have a heart and do the right thing.

  This daycare is everything a parent could hope for — warm, welcoming, and full of care. The staff are kind, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. Highly recommend to any family looking for a safe and loving environment!
