Over the past three years The Artful Child has been anchor for my children. They started in the morning program, and now go to the the after-school club. Jessie and her staff are kind, observant and supportive. The children love the space. It's where they get to make art and meaningful connections, learn through play and to be themselves. This program is truly a gem.

We hosted our daughter's 4th birthday party at the Rosedale location and it was amazing! Every guest commented how incredible the space was. Truly a child's paradise....so much for them to explore. I couldn't get my kids to leave. In addition to all of the stations for kids (painting, sand table, water table, dough table, clay table, etc.), the set up is great with couches and little tables for creative play that we converted for eating and cake time. Jessica was lovely to work with - very flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The Artful Child is is one of the most magical places that I've experienced for my children. Immediately upon entering, there is an instant feeling of calm and joy and inspiration. The children are free to explore their own creativity through a vast variety of art based activities. The staff are beyond incredible and meet each child where they are at, allowing the kids here to develop and gain their confidence in the most beautiful way. It is so amazing to have such a special place where my kids can explore the world of art in their own unique ways and I don't have to do any of the clean up!! I simply get to enjoy their finished pieces and their beaming smiles of pride for their work. It is such an awesome place. I am so happy that I discovered it and I highly highly recommend The Artful Child for their pre-school program, after school programs and camps!

The Artful Child is an amazing preschool filled with compassion, creativity, care, inspiration and full support for children to be their full selves! My daughter has been attending for the past year and feels completely confident in the space and loves the freedom to try new arts projects and explore through the various arts mediums provided. Jessie and Alanna are incredibly responsive to each child's needs and have made my daughter feel so welcomed, so at home and so supported! She loves learning and playing with them! I highly recommend the Artful Child!

Both of my daughters attended The Artful Child between 2016 and June 2018. I could not be more grateful to the wonderful teachers at The Artful Child for providing a warm, nurturing and educational environment for my girls. The teachers always welcomed the children so gently and warmly into the classroom and provided such comfort to them and thus to me. In addition, the projects that they provided for the children to work on always turned out beautifully and inspired the girls to be budding artists! I was so delighted by the artwork that the girls brought home that I created an art wall to display it (see pic attached)! I couldn't recommend The Artful Child highly enough! It is a wonderful environment for children to grow and learn in a very nurturing and supportive environment.
