  Absolutely DO NOT put your child in this daycare. I encourage everyone to read the reviews because they tell the truth. This day care is only good for covering things up to makes themselves look like angels. In my own opinion and based on the scares and proof, our 6 month old daughter was abused in the hands of the caretakers. She was dropped off in the morning perfectly fine, and we picked her up with bruises on her face (which look like finger prints). We were only notified about this once she was picked up, 8 hours later. We wanted answers and they refused to give us the answers. They claimed they wrote a report but went on the make 3 other reports days later, seeming like they are making up better stories to cover their asses. They made up every excuse in the books; even claiming the cleaners/ janitors had to look after the kids when they’re understaffed. This is unsettling for any parents, that anyone (no certification required) could be looking after your child. For the sake of your child’s safety, sanity, and health, PLEASE DO NOT put your child in this daycare.

  I called to ask about daycare availability and the waiting list. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was very rude and dismissive on the phone. The tone was unfriendly and she did not seem willing to provide helpful information. It was a disappointing experience, especially for parents who are simply trying to find care for their child.

  I have been a staff at The Children’s Place for 15 years now, and both my children have been at the Children’s Place from infancy till School Age. The staff have always shown my children so much love and compassion, and have treated them like one of their own. They have learned so much and have grown into wonderful children with the help of The Children’s Place staff. I would definitely recommend bringing your child/children to The Children’s Place . The staff are great and the environment is a warm, loving and very fun place to see your children grow and blossom into the great little people that they will become.

  The Children’s Place Daycare has been an incredible support system for my family over the years. They have stepped in for us during some of our most challenging moments, always with kindness, flexibility, and genuine care for the children. They welcomed my step-daughter during the height of COVID for her JK year, giving her stability, routine, and a safe place to learn when the world felt uncertain. When my step-son suddenly needed care right after my step-daughter was born, they made room for him with almost no notice — something I will always be grateful for. As a single mom, I relied on their support since my son was an infant, and they were there every step of the way. They provided not just childcare, but understanding and reassurance during times when I truly needed it. They even extended their care to my cousin’s children when I unexpectedly had short-term custody of them, treating them with the same warmth and respect they show every child who walks through their doors. The Children’s Place isn’t just a daycare — it’s a community that cares deeply about the families they serve. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond.

  The Children's Place Childcare Centre at the Carling location is the place to go if you want your child to feel like they are amongst friends. The activities the children do are fun and engaging. Whether it is art, sensory, gross motor play or even sitting with a friend or two with an educator reading a book. The staff are friendly and really do show that they enjoy working with children. They are easy to talk to if an issue arises, and will go out of their way to address your concerns. Working with these amazing educators for over 38 years, I can honestly say they provide an environment that is inclusive, fosters acceptance and provides a safe and caring atmosphere for all children to flourish. Please enjoy a little snippet of their day.
