The absolute best school. My son started going there and I had no hesitation sending my daughter there when she was old enough. The staff in incredible, every single one without exception. The teachers are accessible and lovely to deal with. They approach children in a loving and kind manner, which had a positive impact on both my kids very quickly. The children learn so much: from basic academics (my 4 year old can do math better than I could in grade 1); to independence in day to day life; to gardening and yoga. I can go on and on; there is No better school in Etobicoke or High Park.

My son and I have been privileged to be members of the Clover community in the High Park elementary school class. While my son continues to flourish academically and personally, I am most touched by the patient, calm and compassionate approach to teaching and learning that I have observed in the classroom setting and through parent-teacher interactions. Clearly the individuals involved in my son's education have an appreciate for his unique being and nurturing his development... when you find that in a school, it's gold.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with The Clover School. Our son loves his teachers and the benefits from the work done with them is evident every day. He is always excited to go to school. The Clover School method respects children, and believes that children are capable contributors at school and at home from an early age.

Our twins have been at the Clover School for almost 2 years. We could not be happier and neither could our boys! The classrooms are incredible. The teachers are beyond amazing!! They keep in close communication with parents and problem solve with you when your child is struggling with something. My husband and I could not be more impressed. Our children are being taught kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness towards others, independence (the list goes on) AND being stimulated in Math, English, French, gardening, arts, sciences. It is beautiful to watch our boys grow and thrive in this incredible environment. We cannot recommend this school enough!

Our kids have been at Clover School for three years, since fall 2021. Frances, my 7-year-old, started in kindergarten, while Coco, 11, transferred from TDSB into grade 4 (now in grade 6). I'd describe Clover as a modern, relaxed Montessori. Don't get me wrong - they nail the fundamentals. Alongside primary teachers, kids get specialist instruction (example: Mr. Ryback for gym, Mme. Robin for French). I've done many class observations, witnessing the calm, caring environment firsthand. The materials are top-notch and, from what I can tell, true to Montessori principles, with some fresh twists. Coco's had the same teacher since day one, which is huge. At TDSB, each year felt like a lottery - would we get a teacher who clicked with Coco? It was hit or miss. At Clover? No stress. Mrs. Lazaro isn't just a fantastic teacher; she really gets Coco's strengths, needs, and personality. Miss Cordula joined the next year, teaching both our kids with this amazing calm, precise style. It works wonders for Coco and Frances, despite their different personalities. As a parent, I've been invited to classroom observations, read to the kids, even led workshops about my job. The accessibility is fantastic. I can message teachers anytime I need to. Communication is frequent and meaningful - emails, face-to-face chats, you name it. Other faculty have always been super helpful too. Bottom line: I'd 100% recommend Clover to anyone considering it. It's one of the best decisions we've made for our kids. Really happy they're there.
