  We discovered The Laurel School when my older son was in senior preschool, and we knew instantly that it was the perfect fit for our family. During our tour, we were warmly impressed by the principal, Ms. Kindos, who was engaged in a reading session with Junior Preschool students on the floor - a testament to the school's nurturing environment. Our son thoroughly enjoys attending school every day, thanks to the loving and patient teachers who make learning a joy. We were so delighted with our experience that our younger son also joined the Laurel family in the toddler class, where he flourished equally.   My daughters have been at the Laurel School since 2022 and from the beginning, the teachers are warm and genuinely loving. One of the things that means the most to us is when my daughter has separation anxiety during morning drop offs. Mrs. Kindos and Mrs Mishka are ready with open arms, caring for my very upset, often crying little girl. They never rush her and always made sure she feels safe until she is ready to start the day. The classrooms AND washrooms are clean and safe. We also love the daily photos throughout the day. The teachers know each child's personality and needs, and communicates to me if there are any concerns. It truly feels like a second home. Also, a nice added bonus is my 5 year old is now reading books because of all the academic support in Jr and Sr preschool.
