I would highly recommend TLS to absolutely anyone. My daughter attended the little school for the last year, from the age of 18 months to 2.5 years. I mean it when I say it's heartbreaking to leave; she comes home every day so happy and so fulfilled. The programming at TLS is incredible; she has learned so much, and all of the educators are so caring, kind and special. So sad to move away and not get to experience care at TLS anymore.

This preschool/daycare is almost worth moving to Orleans for your children to attend. Best in Ottawa. What a hidden gem. My son (in Jr. Kindergarden) attended the Glebe Montesorri and another private academy before we moved east. Not only does he seem to be thriving even more at the Little School, he also greatly enjoys the education. What a treat that the staff show the little ones that learning can be mixed with true fun. The classroom is rich with different sensory, language, logic/structure, tactile activities (a couple photos of activities below). Live plants and cute guinea pigs are ever present while the decor changes to different learning themes. One day I walked in to find a plethora of balloons hanging from the ceiling which my son quickly corrected me as being "dinosaur eggs". His head teacher, Connie, is a breath of calmness and creativity, and has one of those soothing voices you could listen to all day (or wish you could). The management is also exceptional, and go out of their way to give you just the right information and make transitioning to the school an enjoyable and easy experience. They seem to always be available with an open door and a big smile. Snacks and lunches are made by hand in-house by their cooks, and you can smell what their daily menu is when entering in the morning (plan to be hungry when you drop-off in the morning if it's vegetable lasagna day). Hours of operation allow you to still have a proper 9 to 5 workday. Overall, I would highly recommend this establishment for your children.

The Little School is a wonderful daycare! I feel confident knowing that my child is working with very experienced staff, eating healthy food, spending time outside, engaging with peers and having new learning experiences every day. We are truly very happy :) Thank you for being part of our child's life and learning!
