  Our family will forever be grateful to Monica and her staff for giving our daughter the most well-rounded foundation to start kindergarten. She grew in all ways- emotionally, socially, academically, and physically. Our daughter’s love for learning has been firmly nurtured and grown over the past two years. We will miss WEM and all the staff.

  Our WEM experience with Monica has been absolutely incredible. She does use Montessori pedagogy, but, she customizes the program for my child, which is not something that we would get in a traditional daycare setting. My daughter goes to Montessori because of the programming for early childhood years, and not because we are looking for a full time daycare center or babysitting for our child (we have alternative child care available). Our older child did not go here because we didn't know about it at the time, and I can see significant differences between this program and other early childhood programming. Monica's program focuses on social development and life skills, and that includes age appropriate academic activities (my 4 year old started reading at 3.5 through her program). WEM also focuses on emotional regulation, empowerment, and confidence building, which I notice in my daughter. Monica takes the time to share tools and strategies with me so that we can implement them at home. She honestly helps me be a better parent, and I am really grateful for this program. Plus, my daughter loves going to school, and adores her teachers!

  I can’t say enough great things about West End Montissuri. The director and staff are AMAZING. My daughter has been going for just under a year and she loves it - she has come so far with her learning and skills because of Monica and her program. The environment is well organized, clean, and extremely well planned out with continuous rotating new learning content. We also receive multiple updates every week on how our daughter is doing and what she is learning. My daughter looks forward to going and has said many times that she “loves her teachers”.

  Our son has only been attending the West End Montessori for a few months but I can already see the vast improvement in his life skills, knowledge and language. Monica and her teaching staff have been exemplary in building a solid foundation for my son. She has gone above and beyond a number of times to help facilitate his development. I was very impressed with how Monica takes an interest in each and every child. She has an intuitive and astute sense of what a child’s needs are and how to help facilitate ongoing learning in all domains of a child’s growth. She always takes the time to answer my questions and I feel my son is supported, cared for and is in excellent hands. He loves attending school and I think this is a testament to the learning environment they have created. I’ve been very impressed with how much he’s learned both academically and with his life skills. I also appreciate the regular parent videos that help illustrate what they are learning on a daily basis. Monica and her teaching staff are an example of educators who go above and beyond to help each child develop their full potential not just academically but holistically. I would highly recommend the school!

  I could praise this school & Ms Monica all day long, absolutely the best place you could send your child. We had a pandemic kid born in 2018 who basically spent his entire toddler years away from people during lockdowns in Ontario. He was terrified of everyone and scared to open up to anyone who wasn’t mom or dad. This place has allowed him to grow and flourish but they gave him the time and space to do it gently, showing him the way. Now a few years later he has become such an independent kid, but he’s social & I was so worried he never would be. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, staff is incredible & all the parents and kids are little family. Ms Monica has created that family dynamic & does such a wonderful job. You know she loves your children wholeheartedly & you can just see it in the way she talks to you about the kids & watching her interact with them. If you are considering Montessori, this is the place to go! We drive almost 25 minutes each way to send our kids to her and it’s so worth it! We wouldn’t even consider anything else. Both our children have become so independent & creative through her teachings. Not only does she allow these kids to be who they are, but encourages them to become who they’re meant to be. She brightens the light they already have within them and it’s so evident. We will always be greatful to her for everything she has contributed to our children’s growth.
