Go on a weekday evening if you want to avoid the crowd. If you like the hustle and want to enjoy the stores and stalls, then visit on a weekend day time.

Beautiful place! Great for families. Don’t forget to take items for picnic and a nice book. Ferry every 40 minutes. You pay just once - it’s a return fare

Nice weekend day trip from Toronto. We went there with water taxi per person one way 12.5 USD and there was no line. On the way back we saw a line for the public ferry which was 1km long! Maybe ferry is cheaper but believe me water taxi is worth to pay more of you don’t want to spend most of the time waiting for the ferry.

Only downside is the long wait for a ferry. My advice is pay the $13 for the water taxis. The amusement park is pretty cool, kids loved it. So much else to see. Definitely worth visiting.

Recommend to spend the whole day, as it’s quite big to walk in, ride your bike, enjoy the beautiful gardens, enjoy teleferik ride and some other games like mini tiny wonderland, few restaurants and dessert shop running there, nice beach and long and wide area beach deck. If you saw people lining up to waiting the fairy just before the sunset, spare your self a couple hours and take any taxi boat on the other side.
