Toronto Islands are the perfect getaway from the busy city life. Just a short ferry ride from downtown, you'll find yourself in a peaceful, scenic oasis with stunning views of the Toronto skyline. The islands offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, enjoy a bike ride, or explore the beautiful parks. There different island ferris but we took ferry to Center Island. Centre Island is great for families, with picnic spots, beaches, and even a small amusement park for kids. The islands are incredibly clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a day trip filled with outdoor activities. Whether you're visiting Toronto or are a local looking for a peaceful escape, the Toronto Islands are a must-visit. The combination of nature, beaches, and stunning skyline views make it a truly memorable experience.

A must visit if you're touring the city! Ample green space and manicured garden displays across a huge set of islands with many different attractions. While the ferries got quite busy, the park did not feel crowded at all. We did not get to explore the entire island over the course of multiple hours because of how many things there are to see. What a beautiful public space!

This is one of the best parks in town for a quick getaway trip. Easily accessible from the heart of downtown Toronto, It has a great view of the skyline, areas where you can watch the sunset, loads of picnic area, multilple beaches, bike rentals, and much more to do! It does get very crowded in summers. The view does not get old, though!

We went to Ward's Island and explored. Beautiful paths with historic picturesque homes and art boxes, gorgeous flowers, beautiful views of the water, beautiful public beach and a bunch of little hidden beachy spots... I was able to do all of it (the parts that weren't sand) in my mobility scooter. Exception: the cool concrete walk along the eastern side of the island was a fun adventure, but the broken concrete & 2" drops & very rocky patches are not very wheel-friendly.

We really enjoyed our visit! Plenty of fun things to do on the island, and coincidentally, we were there during the Dragon Boat Festival, and had some lovely Chinese street food. We brought our dogs too, and they also had a wonderful time on the ferry! :)
