  I recently visited Trapped Escape Room on Eglinton with a group of 8. One person couldn’t make it at the last minute, so 7 of us still attended and completed the game. The biggest issue for me was the 50% charge for the one person who didn’t show up. I understand that venues have cancellation policies, but this was not clearly communicated during booking, and I couldn’t find it explained on their public website. For a large group that showed up (07 out of 8 people showed up and limit was 9 people for that room!), the charge felt excessive and left a negative impression before we even started the game. Unfortunately, the experience inside didn’t make up for it. The room was uncomfortably cold, which made it hard to focus and enjoy ourselves. On top of that, the puzzles were extremely difficult. We were told at the end only 15% of people succeed!!! Challenging is great, but there should be some indication of difficulty level so groups know what they’re signing up for. Overall, between the strict no-show charge, the temperature of the space, and the puzzle difficulty, the experience just wasn’t enjoyable for me. I don’t think I’ll be returning, and I’d recommend that future guests ask very detailed questions about policies and room difficulty before booking. The only positive was that young employees were patient, hence the 2 stars otherwise 1 or none.

  SCOTT and PRANJAL truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were so welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely excited for us, which made the whole experience even more special. We did Lost and Found for my friend’s birthday, and for two of us it was our very first escape room, yet we still managed to escape thanks to their great energy and support! The room itself was incredibly well designed and so fun to navigate, but what really stood out was the amazing staff. Scott and Pranjal brought such positive vibes, kindness, and enthusiasm that it made the day feel extra memorable. We laughed so much and had an absolute blast. Thank you both for making my friend’s birthday such a fun and special experience we truly appreciate you! See you again soon and definitely in the summer for outdoor escape fun!!!

  Just finished one of the escape rooms… have to say it was so much fun and would definitely come again. Lots of fun interacting in the rooms. Freya was very helpful and helped up us with understand how to navigate the room. Very fun for game night , date or even just to hang out with friends !!

  We tried the Happy Nights Inn Room at the Trapped Midtown Location and the room was well designed. We were 8 people and it was a lot of fun. Devang was a very good host. He explained us the rules very well and was always available to help us out when needed. In the end, he explained us the unsolved parts very well. We will definitely visit the location again and try the other rooms. The one hour boardgame time after the room is also appreciated and it was a lot of fun.
