  We are so happy that Western Heights opened a location close to us! Our son loves going to school and spending time with his teachers and friends every day! Sending your child to daycare is challenging at the best of times but with Covid restrictions, that feels even harder to do. Staff at Western Heights made us so comfortable with our decision and were able to help my son (who is very shy and had limited exposure to people) very comfortable and excited to walk in on his own within the first few days. The staff take great care, have very creative and fun educational activities planned every day and provide a nutritious menu. They communicate daily with parents through an app so you always know what your little one has learned and done during the day. We would absolutely recommend the Tomken Campus to anyone looking for a Montessori school for their child.

  Our son has been attending Western Heights - Tomken campus since the last two years and we have been thoroughly impressed with the progress he has made. The teachers are truly passionate about what they do and don’t shy away from providing candid feedback on the child’s performance and progress. In addition, I and my wife always look forward to the daily updates provided through the Western Heights’ app. There is ample focus on the child’s holistic development with different days being dedicated to the various activities such as Yoga, Music, Show and Share, French. Last but not the least, we look forward to the annual holiday concert that provides an opportunity to the child to perform in a public setting and showcase their talent. Thanks to all the core and support staff and keep up the amazing work.

  My son has been at Western Heights for two years. The school is excellent, and the teachers are very responsible. My son is happy every day at school. Each week, the school offers music class, yoga class, Chinese class, French class, and a show and tell session. And it also offers winter and summer camp! My son loves all of them, and learned so many things! More importantly, the teachers here genuinely care about the children, including their daily lives, studies, and mental well-being. When conflicts arise between children, the teachers always provide solutions. The supervisor is wonderful; if you have any questions or concerns, you can always find it easy to talk to her. She is a highly experienced early childhood educator who cares for the children and uses appropriate methods to teach them to follow rules. In short, my son and I both love it here!

  Western heights was a perfect place for our kids to start their journey of learning! The teachers demonstrate unwavering patience and kindness each day. We could never provide this type of learning at home and in such a short time our son became so much more confident and independent! I love how the students take accountability for their learning at such an early age and it has been amazing watching our kids discover their curiosity and love for learning. The supervisor is very approachable and has truly created a warm and caring environment. We are so grateful for the staff and can’t thank them enough for all their support!
