My daughter has been dancing at this studio since it opened its doors in 2016. She has thrived in so many ways beyond dancing. The owner and the staff have successfully fostered an environment that not only welcomes but celebrates inclusiveness. As a mother of biracial child, it was extremely important to me to find a diverse community for my daughter to feel welcome and we couldn't be happier with Whitby Dance Company. We have been members of Whitby Dance Company since moving to Whitby in 2021. My daughter has danced both recreationally and competitively. My daughter has some anxious tendencies, so dance is a wonderful way for her to express herself, however, sometimes she needs a little reassurance and coaching. She gets this at WDC. The staff are patient and compassionate and care for each and every dancer walking through their doors. The passion and drive the teachers bring with them to every class shows they truly have a love for dance and for teaching.

Best dance studio! We started at a different one which I wasn’t a fan of then moved here. My daughter did take a break from dance to focus on gymnastics this past year but she misses dance so we will be registering again soon. She still comes for camps and she loves them. Instructors are all great! Highly recommend

We absolutely love Whitby Dance Studio! I have two kids in the competitive program, and have been in the rec program for several years prior. The teachers are incredibly skilled, supportive, and truly invested in each dancer’s growth. The studio strikes the perfect balance between developing dancers technique along with positive encouragement, and a fun, motivating environment. My daughters have improved so much, not just in their dance ability, but in their confidence, discipline, and love for performing. The communication, organization, and overall professionalism are also outstanding. We’re so happy to be part of the Whitby Dance Studio family and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dance program! 💜✨

We had a lovely experience celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday at Whitby dance company:). The teachers were great and were so awesome with the kids, they kept them engaged and having fun the whole time! The parents loved watching the kids perform at the end of the party too!
