  We visited a number of daycare providers before choosing winterwood and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our oldest went through all the programs and our second is going through them as well. The care and nurturing the educators at winterwood provide for our children is amazing and definitely put us at ease knowing they were safe and looked after. I can’t imagine the challenges of running a daycare through a pandemic and so wanted to recognize the efforts of Cheryl and Alex and thank them for their understanding and reassurance.   I can't say enough good things about Winterwood!! Cheryl and Alex in the office are fantastic. All of the educators are the most wonderful caring people! We've had 2 kids in care from the infant room right through to senior preschool. They have been like a second home and I can't imagine having them in care anywhere else. We're having another baby in the Winter and we put them on the waitlist as soon as we found out we were pregnant. If it were up to me they would stay in care until college!

  We have been with Winterwood since 2017. Between my three kids, we had the opportunity to work with all of the educators, at least twice, if not three times by now. While my kids have their favourites, there hasn’t been a single educator they didn’t like. All staff, whether it be the educators, the administration or support staff have been nothing but professional, caring and dedicated. Since 2017, there has been very little staff turnover, which I feel is reflective of the positive environment at Winterwood. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Winterwood, they have been nothing but caring, supportive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our children could become the best version of themselves.

  Two of my children have attended Global child care, specifically the WinterWood location and have had excellent care. Program Director Cheryl and all the staff members go above and beyond to ensure a safe, caring and nurturing environment. We have never had to be concerned for the safety of our children and have been very happy with the program and it's impact on our children's development.   Six years ago we did the daycare search in Ottawa for the right home for our child when not at home. We toured multiple facilities and met with many directors. In the end, the only place we felt comfortable leaving our child with special needs was Elizabeth Park which later became Winterwood. The staff are professional, courteous, and above all loving of the children in their care. They go above and beyond to make sure parents concerns are heard and addressed. We have now left two children in their care, both with special needs and I cannot speak highly enough about how this facility is operated. There are very few other places in the city I would be comfortable leaving my children. If there were an award for daycares in the city, Winterwood would win annually.
